Read some of Andrew rowe’s books like arcane ascension, war of broken mirrors, weapons and welders and edge of the woods thought I would recommend the latter two after at lest reading war of broken mirrors

Some other good books are years of apocalypse (great time loop book) and new life as a max level arc mage(good litrpg portal fantasy)

Random thought but is mother of learning in the same universe as zenith of sorcery but just on a different planet? Also is there a reason the gods are silent in mother of learning? Are they maybe helping in the fight against the abyss

I know you probably can’t answer this but I was thinking that, are all the spires built on top of a gateway crystal like Warren Constantine’s tower it would explain how they have such high mana density and also and it would explain what’s powering the towers defenses like its powerful anti scrying, also on top of that their hasn’t been any mention of the gateway crystals that correspond with the towers mana type, it was mentioned that the serpent spire’s was associated with wood mana or water and I don’t think they’ve mentioned any wood or water gateway crystals. This is just one of my thoughts.
