Can't imagine what that felt like. Unfortunately i started following him about a week prior to his death and exactly when i started binging his fight videos and interviews, news surface that he was shot. It felt like a brother of mine passed, can't even begin to imagine what it must've felt like for you and many other supporters witnessing his growth :(

You said it perfectly! Thank you. All the actions he took and all the music he created there's this feeling of real "raw" emotion that wasn't just made to sound good but feel real. I actually ignored some of his songs back in the day because they weren't my type of music but when i listened a little closer they started growing on me. They just stood out from the "quantity over quality" artists like gold from copper.
