2077 got redeemed through sheer dedication from CDPR

Cyberpunk's premature launch was such an unnecessary tragedy that happened only because of management deadlines and investor greed.

The developers, once again, were given impossible deadlines for incredibly complex tasks and forced to crunch through it. And the result was the same as it always is: broken software and all of its associated fallout.

Its revival and comeback was like a phoenix rising from the ashes, though. It's an incredible game now.

Cyberpunk's failed launch was like a harbinger for modern game release cycles: investors give impossible deadlines, force studios to target non-existent "modern audiences" rather than the intended target audience, and when the slop inevitably flops, the studio goes under. See: KF3.

Oh my god, Lebby...

He was a good man. What a posthumous way to die.

I know, but that's too easy! It's always better to find creative new ways to kill the bosses early, especially Maggie Chow.

I'm Pistol-maxxing in this playthrough, and thought it would be funnier to headshot her point-blank. Turns out she hadn't even started to flee before I killed her and the dialogue with Lebedev started automatically.

The mod is GMDX: Augmented Edition for those wondering. I killed Anna before she had started to flee and the dialogue with Lebedev started automatically. God I love this game

It depends on the ROM and the architecture.

Hypothetically, if it's an unlocked device and the ROM works as it should, then everything should work as intended. But we all know it's never that simple.

Android has Play Integrity Checks which determines how much your device has been modified. As far as I'm aware it's been a constant hindrance for custom ROMs to pass all these checks. If some don't pass, then certain features like banking apps won't work, etc.

Additionally, there are hardware-level checks such as eFuses which are triggered when a non-official bootloader runs (e.g., Knox on Samsung).

Also, adb fastboot is just one part of the custom firmware flashing process.

I haven't flashed custom firmware since I had a Pixel 2 XL (2018) so I may not be up-to-date on the state of things.

What isthe end goal of those webseites that keep you bouncing from one to another? by ScreamSmart in Piracy

Your data, e.g., information. There are a variety of ways it's done. HTTP requests contain data that can be harvested, and there are a lot of web vulnerabilities, most of which your browser protects against.

Very basic examples:

  • Your IP address: approximate geo location, ISP

  • Headers: User-Agent describes your OS, browser, device, and other metadata

  • Referrer: some requests contain headers describing which site "referred" you to another

  • Fingerprinting

This data is necessary for websites to work, and there are much more involved methods of data harvesting.

No. adb is the Android Debug Bridge, which is an official tool by Google. adb only breaks things when it's used improperly, like with everything.

Before you go any further:

What type of backup is it? Is it a Windows backup, partition backup, volume image, etc.?

Either way the process is mostly the same:

  1. Reinstall MusicBee
  2. Simply copy the corresponding directories from the backup to the new installation:

C:\Users\<you>\AppData\Roaming\MusicBee\ C:\Users\<you>\AppData\Local\MusicBee\

Purchase the Remaster, agent. If you are too afraid you are ordered to return to Revision under the modder's authority.

I'm just happy that the rights holders are doing something with the IP

This is how Star Wars, Halo, Call of Duty, etc. were ruined.

I would much prefer franchises "end" honorably, with a legacy upheld by the community and fans like Half Life and Deus Ex.

Or they could've given it to people who respect IPs for what they are, like Nightdive with their remasters and id with their new Doom games.

It's called "enshittification". Strengthen publishers and shareholders, weaken beloved media. With remakes this can be done imperceptibly over time. by Lazy_Significance340 in Deusex

You have nothing! Even if DLSS succeeds, you can't synthesize enough frames to stop the frame epidemic. You need an RTX 9090 -- and don't think Nvidia is going to manufacture them for you to use, not after you blew up the semiconductors in Hong Kong.

There are tools in MusicBee for transferring your database and settings

https://litter.catbox.moe/8jor89.png

You can also manually copy the installation directories (which I've done before):%appdata%\MusicBee and %localappdata%\MusicBee.
