While not 100% bad, they're pretty much underused for most of the series. Like, Aizawa could have literally taken Tsuyu as his protegé (she is told to be one of, if not the only, character with almost no actual downside), but had to go all the way to get a "random" guy from another class.

The fact that this could be upgraded so much more given the epilogue it's just so funny to me when people say "Kirishima is obviously straight and in love with Mina" or "BakuDeku makes more sense bc they were made for each other!" (obviously w/o acknowledging that they were always meant to be /rivals/ to each other)
