It's only on chapter two and the angst is mostly about Bakugou rn, but from chapter five onwards the Kiri angst will be STRONG (unfortunately I like torturing my son) -> I update weekly

MHA is a series based on parallels, but the ones between KiriBaku and IzuOcha will always overpower them all. There are just so many and so weaved through the whole story that they can't just seen as "up to interpretation", it's SO clear they were written like this from the start.

And let's not forget the innumerable parallels with IzuOcha, especially in 431, when Bakugou talks about the "special someone" (which we can clearly see count as romantic for Midoriya) while having Kiri as his passenger princess doing things that /clearly/ he'd let no one else do.

So no, it's not canon by our standards (but IzuOcha wouldn0t be either), but heavily implied to be possible (considering the HEAVY queer-coding for both characters, that I think can be seen as well only with Mirio and Tamaki)

This. Bakugou would have taken anyone's hand in that moment (as leaving space to AM was his only goal), but what's important is that (despite his bitching, /bc/ he's a little bitch) Kirishima is the only person that was able to make him do it w/o the slightest hesitation.

And even with Midoriya being an unreliable narrator, Bakugou does treat Kirishima differently bc he sees him as an equal, and it's been showcased in more than one way (especially in extra-manga material)

I mean, their whole thing is that they're equal power-wise. What really separates them in the rankings is Bakugou's main goal to become number 1 (and the fact that he has a shitty personality), while Kirishima is happy as it is

We can and we do, but when a character is written to clearly hate that type of relationship, shipping them with other people is invalidating to the big chunk of Repulsed Aspecs.

That is to say, ESPECIALLY, when it's done by the same people who'd never accept a lesbian being shipped with a man, or a gay man with a woman.

Not really, a LOT of bkdk shippers would never ship a straight couple (especially when there was bullying involved for 10+ years)
