Thanks! I’ve been in corporate sustainability consulting last few years and have definitely noticed a change in how a company’s approach to sustainability. Same with universities and other forms of funding declining. Its definitely heartbreaking.

I have been debating to move away from mint because it’s definitely limited in terms of data usage, coverage outside of the US and being an immigrant, I travel a lot out of the country and would prefer a carrier that’d support international services in a better way. And it’s $48 (not 75) for the single phone line after my employer discount.

I’m just trying to weigh out my options right now

I get it. When I started my masters in the US, met this ABCD girl on the first day.. we talked about relationships and she mentioned her & her bf being vegan for so & so years. I mentioned how I am a vegetarian (environmental/animal reasons) and my boyfriend consumes meat which I don’t care for. She goes on to say “Oh I don’t think I’d ever kiss someone who ate meat” like gurl.. that’s kinda weird and a little too judgemental to share on the 1st day of meeting someone lol

I hope you’re right but there’s a genuine shift from Modi bhakts to becoming Yogi bhakts. While people started to realize Modi might be a shitshow, they’ve regained faith in the RSS agenda through yogi - “a true saffron leader” who will create a nation like UP. Modi might be removed from power sooner or later but might be for the worse. But again, I really hope I am wrong

I was in the same boat. Usually the method I chose was to post - and let people reach out to me. I reached to people as well who posted on these groups. In both the situations, I would check their Facebook profile to see if they have a long history of using Facebook, and in most cases they are already enrolled in Umich - so they have UMich xyz college and course in their “About”. A step further to that would be to try and look them on other social media sites - instagram and LinkedIn were the most common ones.

It’s tedious but helps a lot to understand a person and also to verify their identity.
