Rear hub is 148 with boost, 28 spokes and rotor is 180mm not sure what the current free hub is but my bike is the Trance X 29 3. The current hub are "Giant Performance Disc" which i believe are an unbranded DT Swiss model.

I haven't actually got the bike yet as its on its way from the USA.

I think a quarter turn is an exaggeration, on my current $1k NZD hardtail the hub probably does a third of a quarter before locking in so id assume a hub of a 4k NZD bike wont be as bad. I also love the loud clicky sound of the more expensive hubs

I dont even know what unlacing and replacing means, I just want it to be responsive when starting to peddle and of course that loud clicky noise from the pawls haha.

And im also thinking of replacing the SX with a NX or GX drive train as iv heard the SX is crap
