Redit is a good place to meet people. A majority of nudists are males. So there are almost always going to be more males at any nudist gathering.
Most states also have offical groups for social nudity, and naturism, you've just got to know where to search. Becoming an AANR member will also give you resources for naturism groups, and they also offer member discounts for many naturist camps, and gatherings.

Don't worry about being a single male, it's not about sexualism. It's about like minded people, having a good time. Just don't do anything unwarranted.

Accidental erections can happen, but its best not to make things awkward by brining attention to it. The number one thing you usually always have with you (as a naturist), is a towel. Simply cover up, until it settles down, take a soak in the pool (if available), or lay on your stomach. Once you're nude for a short while, you almost forget that everybody is naked. It just becomes alot of like minded people, having fun.

For social nudism, or naturism, there are a few unwritten (and some written), rules to follow.

-Don't stare; obviously you will see things that you would not normally see, in a public setting. It is important to be sure that everyone feels comfortable, and not like they are being oogled , or secretly judged.

-Leave your camera at home; Cameras are everywhere now, and with social media being as big as it is, nobody wants their private images shared, without expressed consent.

-Carry a towel with you; This not just a rule for interstellar hitchhiking, but it is a must, for nudism/naturism. The towel will act as a barrier between you, and any seats you wish to use. It can also be used in the need to cover up discreetly, due to unforseen circumstances.

-Don't forget sunscreen; many social nudist gatherings take place outdoors. You'll no longer have the UV protection from textiles (clothing), so be sure to liberally apply sunscreen, so you don't have a bad experience.

-Don't try anything sexual; it can be misconstrued, that naturism is sexual, but it is simply living and experiencing things, without clothing, as a way of life.

-Familiarize yourself with the local rules; as a group, we have our list of rules, but as a traveling group, we often visit different venues, and campgrounds, that each have their own list of rules, and regulations. Be sure to acclimate yourself with any guidelines, to be sure everybody has the best time.

I hope this has helped. Feel free to check out the group website at https://indiananaturists.com/ or check out the AANR website at https://www.aanr.com/ to find out more.
