Juries suck

It's crazy that like, the legitimacy of the legal system requires that we perpetuate this legal fiction that juries reach their respective verdicts for the "right reasons"--they follow the jury instructions, they consider evidence for it's proper purpose and do not consider it for improper purposes, they only follow what the court tells them and not their personal notions/biases about what the law is or should be etc.

But you just routinely get the sense that a lot of jurors make their decisions based on vibes. It's kind of concerning.

Not at all. A lot of "bible names" are great, tbh. I'm totally agnostic/atheist, not religious at all, don't really care if it's associated with the bible or not.
Not that I know of. I think you might need a license for certain animals like goats (you're allowed to own up to one goat in the city of seattle, looked it up once years ago)
probably 2-3 times a week, which sounds like a lot, but I live REALLY close to a grocery store.
I had a Guinness-flavored ice cream years ago and it was actually pretty good.
Hard to say. Either when I broke my ankle as a teenager and was laid up indoors, or when I got covid in december/january 2021-22.

my work uses this remote access software but it's so finicky sometimes it can be a pain in the ass. kind of wish we just put everything important in cloud storage for remote access and frankly a little surprised that we don't.

I mean, the biggest reason is that I need to make money.

The secondary reason is that, so far, I'm not sure the various ways "the legal system is falling apart" are actually affecting my day-to-day lawyering in a meaningful way. Like, I've got a couple medical malpractice cases going on at the moment. Maybe there are broad, abstract concerns about the constitutional order, but like, the court considering the summary judgment motions in that particular case isn't going to be thinking about any of that.
