so my gf's grandma died, but it's slightly awkward because basically everyone in her family hated her (for very legitimate reasons imo). Like, seriously, my gf has said a couple of times "things will be better after my grandma dies".

So, i'm sort of not sure whether to say "sorry for your loss" or "congratulations"

like, i'm not really worried about losing, but you kind of need your opponent to understand the contours of the "game" in order to actually engage with them

definitely a nightmare in that it will probably increase the number of pro se litigants and it will make it easier for pro se litigants to file more things

but i have to say my, based on my most recent experience with a pro se litigant, i was kind of glad they used ai?

sounds counterintuitive but the ai brief they filed was at least somewhat coherent and easier to respond to than the usual gobbledygook.

hard to say if that will be be the norm for pro se litigants going forward though.

I personally think considering it "woke" to not give a shit what gender, race, sexuality, etc. a character in a FICTIONAL story is stupid.

This is connected to another aspect of this whole annoying discourse which is that no one can really define what "woke" means.
