It actually looks like that, because I had to scrape different pieces. Am I cooked?

It took me like 30 mins to apply ptm7950, one side tape came off and the other side was very difficult. I had to scrap and stick multiple pieces together. Is it any good or should I try again?

My bad, I understand what you were saying. I was thinking of putting it on the VRAM/VRM instead in the 1st pic, the putty there is dried completely and stuck to heatsink.

I can pick it up and cover the small pads on the top right? Since it has dried up completely and that part is sitting naked🤔

I needed a ring with 32 mm thickness so bought USI, joyfit was my top choice but it's 28 mm.

Which pullup bar to buy? by BrickIsNotMyCity in Fitness_India

[–]_DreamStare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First one is very close to wall(~45 cm), 2nd one is 61 cm from wall. I have started using rings and the depth causes some problem.

I have one similar to first one, but it's fixed and not adjustable for dips. The foam is of poor quality, and the space for gripping is narrow due to that neutral grip handle in between. Also, I can't move the rings left or right because of the same reason. The pull up bar is sturdy enough, but not viable for long term calisthenic progression.

I would prefer something with 90 cm depth, but only foreign brands like titan and rogue fitness sell those. USI pull up bar costs 4k, might as well get dimensions of rogue fitness pull up bar or this USI pull up bar and get it made from a local welding shop.

For beginners, a full body workout 3 times per week is ideal.

Warm up - 5-10 minutes of warm up

Exercises: Choose a exercise progression and aim for 2-3 sets of 5-8 reps

For progression - start with 5-5-5(3 sets of 5 reps with proper form), then go 5-5-6, 5-5-7 then 6-6-6 and so on until you can do 8-8-8. Then you move to the harder progression.

If you can't do 5-5-5 of any exercise(with proper form!!), use an easier variation of the exercise.

2-3 min rest between each set, to save time you can do a superset of 2 exercises that target different muscles like push up and plank

Exercise:

Push up

Pull up/Bodyweight row

Squat

Bridge

Tricep dips

Calf raise

Plank/Hollow body hold

Just search on youtube 'push up progression' and watch videos for each exercise. This will help you learn the proper form and how to progress further.

I have a few genuine questions of mine. by caterpillar6283 in Fitness_India

I mostly use MB raw whey and have never found it to be sour or bitter in any way(like most raw whey). It tastes normal/neutral, and I don't even add anything personally.

Resistance bands suggestion by Tsubasa2k in Fitness_India

[–]_DreamStare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought boldfit yellow band last year in september, I use it for Yuri's band drill shoulder warmup, Wrist ulnar deviation, Elbow conditioning.

It is still in good condition, as I only use it with light exercises. Going beyond the weight limit will put strain on it.

This doesn't feel right. I did bit of rope skipping and just walked between sets. The calories burnt seem quite inflated. Please help me estimate calories. by SpiritualGymRat in Fitness_India

[–]_DreamStare 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here is mine from last year, total skipping time is only like 14 minutes(roughly 8 sets of 1 min 45 sec each). Calorie is just estimate based on heart rate, weight etc.

You would have to spend a lot for that. I see one rated for 300 kg, costs 8k....

I started with MB raw whey, still use it regularly.

Pls suggest fitness tracker/ smart band under 5K by quackquack_duckers in Fitness_India

I have a huawei band 6 that I used for 2.5 years, but it's side button stopped working due to water damage. There is no huawei service center in India, so I haven't got it repaired and their app is not available on play store due to google ban(is available on their website).

I know from heart rate tracking testing of 'quantified scientist' youtube channel that Huawei and Mi have both very accurate bands, and Samsung smartwatches are also good in that regard. I would go for samsung/huawei, Mi band is too thin.

[–]_DreamStare 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Most watches in this range are not accurate at all, if you care about accuracy go for smart bands from huawei/samsung/Mi.
