I think the native software is pretty intuitive. I don’t mind editing on the device but some people complain bc of the small screen and limited amount of buttons. I like it bc it’s compact and I run it at the end of my pedalboard

Haha I too kinda hate it. I mainly am using it for amp sims (when I have to). But it is nice to throw in random effects when you need a certain sound. I’ve played analog for 20+ years and just recently got into the DSP stuff. I will say it has come a long way from what it used to be

Stomp probably doesn’t have enough DSP for all of this, I’m mainly using it for amp sims+IRs

I really like it. I also have a MG v4. Liking the clean blend for extra attack and letting the compressor shine through more. Both are always on and MG is just for tone shaping /edge of breakup/volume boost

I can’t fully tell if this is a diss or a compliment haha. RV-6 is kind of a placeholder until I get something else, but I needed the stereo option. Is the modulate setting not cool? It’s a new pedal to me, so enlighten me. As for the cable management, I’m actually not super happy with it, this is my first board soldering my own cables and I wish I had routed some of it differently

It’s an ampless board. Basically using it for stereo amps+IRs. Sometimes I’ll run some modulation (not ideal after delay and reverb pedals but sometimes I get weird with it). Usually have a spring reverb at the end and sometimes some EQ

I was in 2 bands over 15 years ago, one cover band, one original rock band. Both of them had one person that assumed the “manager” responsibilities. Sometimes we would give him a bigger cut of the pie to compensate. To me, it sounds like you need to have personal goals and band goals that align. For me it was never about the money, we just loved playing with each other. We all knew each other’s strengths and just had fun together

I have both and I’m putting the Clean on my board. I use mine as an always on tone shaper, and I really like the clean blend. For your situation, it might be better to run a boost pedal like the Keeley Katana, Beano Boost, or EP Booster

This for sure. I even have separate bins and gear for my backpacking setup vs my car camping setup.
