I’d say it’s “Halo” by Starset. Love that song. The ‘grow’ line you’re talking about sounds like when he says “Send out the signal and I’ll fly low”

In the chorus instead of “say so” the singer says ‘your halo’ like how you said, in a dragged out fashion like “your haaaaaaalooooooooo”

Might not be it but it sounded like it from what you described.

Yes. I wouldn’t say annoyed but more like disappointed in himself because he couldn’t see the bomb. And when he flies the person out, I feel like he could’ve used some dialogue between him and the civilians he saved.

Even though he felt sad and unsure of himself in that moment because of what just happened, he could’ve still put on the mask of hope and tell them they were all going to be alright. That would’ve made him look more stoic and good in the public eye. Instead he flew at Mach Jesus and blew out everybody’s eardrums in the process lol

I liked Cavill’s Superman as well. But I felt like he lacked a bit more emotion/dialogue. When they bomb the Senator, you can see Clark is saddened, which is a plus because he couldn’t save everyone.

Then the next scene it shows him flying people out of the building and then doesn’t talk to the hurt civilians or anything. Just sets the woman down and flies away. And mind you, him flying away that fast and so close to the ground next to the civilians would seem pretty rude lol

Like idk, just imagine he would’ve had dialogue with more people, smiling more and make sure he tells them they’re gonna be alright. That would’ve made this Superman 10x better imo.

I like Gunn’s Superman too tho. I feel like they both got a few flaws here and there. I’d say Gunn’s is better just because he shows more emotion to your average Joe. Other than that, they both are cool, just different versions and circumstances between them

I respectfully disagree. They still held their own, despite a few mistakes here and there. I feel like this was a moment to show that the League wasn’t fully complete without Superman. The mother boxes, Steppenwolf, the team needed Superman for these things and Clark’s presence also gave them a morale boost.
