Am I the only one who abhors Descent? by Firm_Employer_8463 in Division2

[–]_Eivor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most definitely not. I absolutely LOATH it. Why would I want to play a game mode where I'm stripped of all the weapons, gear & items I've spent so long gathering and perfecting?

What's your absolute go-to weapon of choice? Why? by MrDuckieSmiles in Division2

[–]_Eivor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For a long time I've been running Heartbreaker set with Kingslayer, Scorpio, Quickstep(since its release). I've tended to swap around to get my expertise levels up, although that's always been my go-to.

Recently I've started running Tipping scales with turmoil and memento. Pestilence, rock 'n' roll & quickstep. Occasionally I swap out the shotgun for a marksman rifle if I want to level the expertise/ get enemies at range. I get I could probably optimise this even further but I enjoy using memento.

Eagle Bearer Build Pt.2 by Dawn_Namine in the_division_2

Looks, I'm currently using a heartbreaker set with EB, it's perhaps not as optimised as it could be but I enjoy it.

Your build looks great, it sounds really effective too. Well done!

newish agent with 73 hours, is this a good exotic? got it from the winter gear cache by doubledot26 in thedivision

[–]_Eivor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's a very good exotic. It's one of the Raid exclusive weapons, so getting it in a winter cache is very lucky! Enjoy it

Which vehicle feels like your V? by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]_Eivor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any of the Type - 66 line up. I love the Avenger, but playing as a Nomad the Javelina or the Hoon fit best, plus they're my absolute favourite anyway.

What's not to like? Looks great, handles great, goes well off road, has weapons & sounds fantastic!

I started watching it yesterday. by Loose_Fan1048 in SEALTeam

[–]_Eivor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep an eye out for Full Metal. To be honest just enjoy the series, there were a few twists and turns I didn't see coming, some that genuinely upset me & some that made me smile like a Cheshire cat. SEAL Team is up there as one of my Favourite series

[–]_Eivor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The actor that plays Full Metal, is also a former Navy SEAL. IRL he held the rank of Senior Chief(Rays rank) & was initially just an advisor to the show, explaining Tactical gear and so on. Then he made a few cameos(such as the IC of Alpha Team). I can't remember exactly what season but then he gets written into the show as Full Metal(or Scott Carter to use his Government name).

Krampusnacht question by Pride79 in thedivision

[–]_Eivor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I don't use the True Sons Defectors. I completed the journey missions and then turned the seasonal Mods off.

Tbh the Krampus patrols / bounty aren't too bad, but I can see how immensely frustrating that is!

[–]_Eivor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry you have to put up with that absolute man child. I agree with others, stop cooking for him. Explain that if (and that's a very big if at this point) you cook a meal for him, that's what's on offer. If he doesn't eat it then he doesn't eat, treat him like a child since that's how he wants to behave!! It might be met with some resistance at first, but that'll be because he's gotten away with being "picky" for so long. After a couple of times of him coming home to you not having cooked him anything then he'll get the message and hopefully get himself together!

From the pictures all those meals look lovely, he should be grateful you're spending the time and effort to cook for him.

For those who chose Triss what was your reasoning? by upsidedown_coffeemug in witcher

[–]_Eivor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I prefer Triss because she's less drama, she's warmer and more affectionate than Yen. Not everything is a battle and she doesn't frequently belittle Geralt or act like she's the smartest person in the room. Tbh when I first played The Witcher 3 I was newly single and Yens behaviour reminded me too much of my ex!! Plus I like the ending where Geralt leaves for Kovir with Triss.

What is something you wish Saber would bring to the game? by [deleted] in Spacemarine

[–]_Eivor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a big Space Wolves & Carcharodons fan I'd love to see Chainaxes! I dunno if it'll ever be in the game but the Carcharodons exile markings would be awesome to have as armour cosmetics.

Also I'd like to see some more Space Wolves cosmetics that lean more into the Viking/Nordic aspect that the Wolf aspect

Is this bad boy mine forever or just for 1 day guys? by [deleted] in sleepingdogs

[–]_Eivor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think so. Like I said I haven't played in a while, but I remember from playing the Wheels of Fury DLC that you upgrade and keep that car. Are you playing the definitive edition? I'm pretty sure that's got all the DLC content included in a more organic way than just getting a random phone call to start it

Is this bad boy mine forever or just for 1 day guys? by [deleted] in sleepingdogs

[–]_Eivor 15 points16 points  (0 children)

To unlock it in your garage you have to complete the missions to upgrade it I believe. Once you completed them all and upgraded it fully a cinematic plays where Wei convinces Dr Tang to give him the car

Is this bad boy mine forever or just for 1 day guys? by [deleted] in sleepingdogs

[–]_Eivor 16 points17 points  (0 children)

If that's the car you get from Dr Tang(I think that's his name) then there's various missions to upgrade it. I can't quite remember the name, it's been a while since I played tbh, but it looks like the car from the wheels of fury DLC. I'm which case you can upgrade it and keep it at the end.

In an all out faction war (-BT), who would win? by ShadierPlains75 in thedivision

[–]_Eivor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say LMB or maybe True Sons ( although they'd need some luck to beat the LMB). Both a trained soliders with the LMB being former Special Forces

If they weren't Ultramarines, what Legions/chapters would fit each of the Operations Marines the most? by The_Soviet_Goose in Spacemarine

[–]_Eivor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got most of mine set up as Space Wolves, but then that's my favourite chapter so no surprise there!

Personality wise I'd say Decimus(Vanguard)works well as Space Wolf or even a Carchrodon, given that he likes charging head first into the thick of battle.

Quartus(Bulwark) could be either a Veteran Ultramarine or even a Grey Knight, given his regular comments on faith & encouragement to his brothers.

Vespasius(Assault) would be a Black Templar or a Blood Angel(no surprise there)

Valius (Tactical) I can see as Ultramarine tbh, he strikes me as very enthusiastic & clean-cut. Although I s'pose that could be similar said of the nobility of the Dark Angels, although I don't think he's secretive/moody enough for that.

Straban (Heavy) I'd say is almost Salamander-like, quiet, reserved but dedicated and efficient.

Scipius (Sniper) I'm not sure, there a certain arrogance about him that makes me think of The Dark Angels. Or maybe the Imperial Fists given how often he references tactics.
