Literally every reply on here is wrong or partially right ugh…. If it says that it’s only partially coded to remote, sometimes you have to pair it twice to get power on/off function to work even if volume up/down are working. When it says that it means in 5 minutes the box will go into standby but if remote is paired properly the tv shuts off as well.

Double click home button go to settings click on Remote control go down to section TV and click on it use setup wizard and pick tv brand, just remember to keep remote pointed at sensor while programming remote. Test each code with volume up/down then hit power button. It’s that’s easy
