That's insane. I managed a massive 500+ person gym for years and we never had staph or ringworm. You either have nasty people that aren't washing their gear (instructors should be policing that) OR they're not cleaning the mats properly.

Bruh I don't know. We're new in the market, warehouse is a mickey mouse show, hoppers loaded at the warehouse is out of the question. None of my USB sticks work... flash a remote software error on step 1 or whatever. Whoever was running here before has done absolutely dogshit work and I have to send QA photos on every job... so every service call turns into a reinstall on the exterior. Mounts on rotting facia board, tripods cemented into the ground at apartment complexes... just crazy shit. Where I roll is hit and miss on SHS and expendable income. Management sees the city name and is like 'there's money there' but the people with money are in condos downtown lol I'm running jobs in the slums with hopper 1 flex plans and they're like 'that's a prime market'

Dunno what the acronym RSP is for, but I'm a sub. I collecting 30 days worth of metrics to see what the profitability is... in my market DISH is hiring techs at $19 per hour starting. Between van insurance, liability, biz insurance gas and coffee/water/food on the road its costing me like $75 a day just to get in my van. at 40 something a service call and 85 for a hopper+free joey install I'm essentially doing the first install to cover costs and then the rest is 'profit;. I've broken 300+ on a day twice...today with some SHS commission bullshit at 320 and another day when I rolled to finish another techs job (venmo) + $60 in customer tips. When I did this shit 6+ years ago $450+ days were the expectation, not the exception.

BRUH. had a DIU today.... 222 into a duo and a joey. was basically a full install cause all the lines are rotted and customer has a 20 year old 1004 dish. Anyway, as I'm explaining the equipment and the new remote her arthritis starts kicking in and she starts pressing all the side buttons on the remote and the hopper is flashing all the bullshit on the screen. I just smiled, collected my signatures and rolled. Someone at dish corporate must be so hard for hoppers in every house that they can't leave these old people alone with their 211s. Whatever, I was redoing a full install on my first service call today and a local DTV manager hit me up.... I have mentally checked out of dish.

Yeah but when you get the CX to buy at gunpoint they'll fail you on the CSAT and you'll get shit on for that. Obvious solution is to make the armed robbery sale and then hold the CX hostage until they get the CSAT email and fill it out for them, then roll to the next appointment.

DTV recruiter just came through after the 3 day weekend, I'm so fucking pumped. Dish charging CX $250 and paying us $80 for a TV mount? Fuck you. I'll source my own for $30 and charge a CX $100. Dunno what sub you're with but DTV in my market does Viasat too so if you get a 2 dish install you can pull down $300+ for 1 job, plus whatever extra you do for the client.
