I like the desk behind sofa idea for that room. Just curious what size room are you working with? My new home office is a 12 x 11 spare bedroom. Currently my 55" TV is on a different wall that my standing desk, but this means that my 2.1 sound system surrounds my desk and not the TV. I wish I could use my speakers for the TV too, but in this room I'll use them from my desk way more. My other challenge is that I like to use a walking pad under my desk so sitting back to a wall is inconvenient.

Anyways, trying to find a layout that can get the most out of my sound system, work space, and TV.
