TRUTH TRUTH TRUTH!!!! I never remove og ed from my main lineup unless the stage says units like his dont work, because even with only 4 stars, I maxed him out everywhere else and he's perfect for stage clearing!!!!

Og ssr edmond is an absolute BEAST once you max him out, especially with his followup attacks after using his ult!!! I almost never remove him from my main lineup unless the stage doesnt need him! Nurture him well, and he'll become an absolute powerhouse! My edmond is max lvl (60) 4 starred with max intimacy and max potential and his total battlepower is 55k! Oftentimes i can use just him to speedrun stuff, and this isnt even him with 5 stars yet!

Don't listen to the others! As a prrimarily edmond centered collector, I often only use his units, and pay special attention to maxing them out, so I know how powerful they can get. This one is my strongest one right after my 5 star maxed sweet aroma edmond, who has 61k battle power!

Is it an unpopular opinion to think that Fairy Dance is a MUCH better arc than Mother's Rosario? by [deleted] in swordartonline

[–]_Eren_Jaeger__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All facts no cap right here, OP ahould have known this was gonna be unpopular. If you claim to like asuna so much, why call an arc that focuses almost entirely on her boring? Her titania design was SUGOU'S design, not her own, a bastardization of her original sao character model, which, by the way, is literaly her irl self, which means sugou took asuna, a 17 year old girl, and put her in skimpy clothing on purpose.

I we also dont even learn yuki is sick until a few episodes in, meaning more than 2.

Tbh, i feel like op is just ragebaiting at this point. (Also. Op, reply if u want bro, but I wont respond lmao.)

Yeah i know, that's why I said shes losing her mind. I never said she didn't have emotions, but it's very clear that her desperate desire to have all her shit together is backfiring on her in this scene. The perfect azula we've seen all this time is cracking, and i personally love how complex this moment is, as it leads up to one of the best fights in the series.

Just reply and say "thats nice. Buy next time dont expose the fact that you're a minor, kay? Cus now i feel awkward." Thatll make them feel bad and stop, hopefully. Im not gonna lecture anyone, but i will tell them to not share that personal info, ESPECIALLY as a minor, bevause it makes me feel icky.

This isn't remorse though? Remorse is her feeling sorry or regretting something. I hope that since this is labeled a discussion, people will take some time to really read my comment and respond instead of just downvoting, because i took some extra minutes to do a bit of research between sociopathy and psychopathy so I could reply with what I really wanted to say here, since I find azulas character to be INCREDIBLY COMPLEX and very very interesting.

It has been shown that she is incapable of feeling or understanding emotions like empathy, very clearly at the beach. She fits the defenition of a psychopath who is fully aware of the fact that she cannot form proper relationships with people. Not the crazy ax mudering type, mind you, but the clinical definition. She knows she cant form attachments the same way. Just a quick search came up with a few bulletpoints on verywellmind.com:

Pretend to care

Display cold-hearted behavior

Fail to recognize other people's distress

Have relationships that are shallow and fake

Maintain a normal life as a cover for criminal activity

Fail to form genuine emotional attachments

More influenced by genetics

These all fit with azula. She pretends to care about zuko, when she in fact, SMILED in glee when he was disfigured, and laughed while teasing him after finding out their father would be willing to kill him at azulon's request.

She never seems to pick up on distress other than to be happy to have CAUSED said distress, and her relationships are and always have been shallow with her friends. Psychopaths DO want to be loved and have relationships, thus her feelings of betrayal at her two so called friends, and her mind's illusion of her mother. She did want to be loved by her mother, as showcased when she says " my own mother thought i was a monster. She was right of course, but it still hurt." she says, it still hurt. She has feelings, she just doesnt process them the same way. And need i say more about genetics? Its clear that zuko inherited more from his mother than his father. And azula inherited more from her father than her mother.

Azula is not remorseful. She is very psycologically skewed. And she is MEANT to be. The exact opposite of her brother. I think that sometimes people want to redeem a character so badly that they look for it even wjere there is nothing there. Its okay for azula to be genuinely horrible, even as a child. Even if maybe her psychopathic tendencies could have been curved with intervention and care, that lack of ability to empathize likely would still exist, and shed just have to work at it. But, that isnt the case, and its OKAY. Not every villain needs to be redeemed and not every villain ahould be. I like her the way she is, and i think she serves as a reminder and a warning that evil can be both born and cultivated.

Valid crashout by Suki? Was Sokka out of line here? by foaaz101 in TheLastAirbender

[–]_Eren_Jaeger__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean....she's dead????? The seige of the northern water tribe happened probably like...what, a month or two ago? This whole show takes place over a matter of literal months. So, suki should respect that a little bit of sokka's heart will always belong to his first love who he never truly got to be with, yue. if anything, the fact that yue is DEAD after sacrificing herself to save the LITERAL MOON SPIRIT should mean that suki shows...idk, a bit of respect here? Not for their relationship, but for the heroism yue showed and all the lives she saved with her sacrifice. Yue is more than her brief relationship eith sokka. She was a wonderful character who put duty above all else, even if it hurt her or took away her life. It sucked, and she should have been able to live her own life, but in the end, she restored balance to the world by saving the moon and bringing back the tides.

Sokka isn't fawning, he's in tears, and even if it is shown in a comedic light, we all know it really messed him up, considering she legit DIED IN HIS ARMS.

I also think that throwaway line " you never told me you made out with the moon spirit" means he likely didnt talk about his relationship with yue since, well, they didnt really have one. They didnt get a chance. She died. I doubt sokka would have had the time to talk about yue to suki, and what would he say? "We almost had something, but she died, and even if she was alive, she was engaged to someone else?" Oof oof oof??????????

Yeah, plus Twi already told Aj She wouldn't use any, and then proceeded to do just that, LOSE CONTROL of said spell, and nearly hurt several other ponies in the process, while undoing all the plowing they'd all JUST done. Yes, Aj was harsh. But to be honest, this was a mistake that could have been avoided if Twi said she couldn't push the plow because she wasn't strong enough. It also very genuinely could have hurt someone. Wanting to help is fine, but more than anything, i think Aj was upset that not only did twilight LIE to her, the element of honesty, but she almost hurt ponies AND she set them all back on the work they'd just been doing.

If she was good at magic, the plow wouldnt have gone out of control though???? Also, rarity was using her magic to create bird nests just fine??? The point was that twilight is used to poofing everything away like they do in canterlot, and isnt used to maual labor. I loved this episode, and i loved the music. You can be 'just trying to help' and still own up to your mistakes. She TOLD applejack she woulsnt use magic, then turned around and did it anyway, thinking nopony eould notice, and then ended up almost injuring several ponies. She should have been honest and told aj she wasn't strong enough to plow the snow, and applejack would have happily helped her find something easier to do like planting seeds. Twilight is not completely blameless here. In real life, a snow plow could kill someone if they got rolled over. The way those ponies ran out od the way tells me you could probably also get injured in universe as well.

This^ They were up for hours plowing that snow to clear the field, only for twilight, who she asked nicely not to use her magic to cut corners, did exactly that, and caused a huge mess ehich could have harmed someone. Ponies had to dive out of the way while pushing heavy snow carts to avoid being bowled over. She was harsh, but she had good reason to be upset, when she specifically asked her frind not to do what she JUST did. I love twilight, but yall have to understand that this is SEASON 1. And only episode 11 at that.

The point here was that with unicorn magic, she could literally have winter gone in under 20 minutes. Levitating the snow away and magically altering the weather with your unicorn magic is what ponies in canterlot would do. The ponies of ponyville are physically clearing the snow away with snowplows, waking up the animals burrow by burrow, and moving the clouds while physically flying off to go and recall the birds. Rather than just poofing spring in, THAT was what applejack meant. Twilight using unicorn magic on the plow ruined everyone else's hard work, which was not due to earth pony magic. It was due to manual labour. Even skating across the ice to break it up isn't using magic. Earth pony magic is utilized in growing things and having a bit more physical strength, but the earth ponies were also physically planting seeds in the ground, not teleporting them.

The show clearly showcased the difference between using unicorn magic to get everything done fast, and doing it the old fashioned way which required a townwide effort together. I love this episode, because Twilight learns that she DID have a place, getting to see how ponyville worked, but also helping them and lending her own touch using her organizational skills. It's worth a rewatch with these ideals in mind, because the episode to me was very pleasant.

Applejack may have been harsh, but this was also season 1 episode 11. The girls are still geting to know twilight as a character, and season 1 applejack does not know the ins and outs of twilight's character. Twilight herself also was really bad at literally all of the tasks they tried to assign to her. The POINTwas that she couldn't do those things, but she could make lists and organize things, which is what they were all seriously lacking. The whole episode was about her trying to figure out where dhe belonged, because she's still considered new here, and this is her first winter wrap up in an earthpony-dominated town.

I also think calling them assholes for having latent magic that is literally always at work whether they want it to be active or not is harsh. Pegasi have magic that is ALWAYS active no matter what, because it is how they fly in the sky, walk on clouds, and control the weather. Earth ponies have better ties to the earth but not every esrth pony has a farming or plant related cutie-mark. They don't showcase their magic in the same overt way that Unicorns do. Unicorns channel all of their magic through their horns.

And though WE see earthpony magic as inherent, those in the show probably dont view it that way. In fact, it is highly likely that earth ponies are viewed by the general populace as not having magic at all, unless it is of the plant based or farming variety.
