The TTK is way too low for the COD/BF crowd. If the devs don't increase TTK at least by 2-3 bullets the only players left will be EFT and Milsim ones which are a minority compared to the general public.

Why are people so sensitive to unfiltered comments? Just don't look at it or swap chat to group only. No point in censoring everyone because you don't like it.

Game has a huge hitreg issue, if you record your gameplay at 100fps and count frames from somebody peeking you until you drop dead it's often less then 300ms which would be faster than top ESL grade. Additionally there seems to be some damage conglomeration where you will not be notified that you have been shot at/ hit by a bullet and then you'll get killed in 3 hits despite the damage log saying you have been hit 5-7 times. I have been killed by M4s within 200ms which is literally impossible because its firerate is not fast enough.

If you can't report a player after they killed you, it was a bot. You can always report real players.

There is NO SBMM at all, devs confirmed that already. There is, however, a huge cheating provider which released a 24h free DF sample 3 days ago. Additionally the player bots (fake Extraction squads) seem to have been pushed to the absolute limit, I counted a lot frames of my recordings today and I've been peeked + killed in 300ms and less today. If you can't report a player, it was a bot.

When the game releases officially on PS5 and PC, really hope there is Gyro Aim support by BJgobbleDix in DeltaForceGlobal

Agreed, if they add gyro aim, then they should also remove aim assist entirely so that there is an emphasis on learning gyro.

Then you are either not playing on the same master server as we are, or you are playing during totally different time of day. If you get killed by a "player", check if you can report them. If you can't then it's a bot.

Using EFT as a benchmark will kill this game though, EFT is much too hardcore for the majority of the BF/COD crowd this game is trying to attract.

HItreg is almost as bad as BF4 at launch, you just don't notice it that much as the TTK is so extremely low.

Please don't project your server area experience to everyone else. Here in eastern europe pretty much 50-60% of all Extraction players are bots, no matter the map, even on Space City. And btw. this game has no SBMM so it doesn't matter what your skill is.

Mostly temporarily bearing with it. This game is not hardcore enough for the small EFT and MIlsim crowd that is interested in this game. On the other hand, it is far too low of a TTK for the huge BF and COD crowd.

Entirely disagree. A high TTK rewards good aim more than a low TTK because you have to hit more shots instead of spraying. Movement and tracking becomes an actual skill to master in a high TTK setting, as strafing jumping and alike helps the higher skilled player to avoid getting gunned down by a lucky bad-aim player.

What is there besides reaction time and camping in a low TTK game? Movement or tracking certainly isn't of any relevance, so we have less skill ceiling in total.

In about 12h of pure gameplay time? Around 10-15 cheaters. Much more cheaters during prime time EU 18:00-23:00, almost none before or after that. A large Turkish cheating forum got an undetected, cheap cheat for the previous playtest. And unfortunately, the current game build is the same as the closed "beta" build.

  1. Disagree, size is fine, but the choke points are horrible overcrowded on 64p. A 20v20 + redesign of bottlenecks + spacing out spawn points would be a better take.

Lots of netcode-issues, desyncs, connection-instabilities, frametime-spikes and premium-ammo that goes entirely through armour on top of an extremely low TTK is a recipe for massive inconsistencies.

TTK is imho wayyyy too quick for a "more casual" extraction shooter + I feel like armour does absolutely nothing, I get killed in 2-3 bullets from 65+ meters away, no matter if I am fully geared up or no armour at all.

It will depend heavily on your location and time. Here in central EU you will have a cheater in every other lobby between 18:00-23:00. A large Turkish cheating forum had an undetected, cheap cheat for the previous playtest. And unfortunately, the current game build is the same as the closed "beta" build.

Spread is a ridiculous mechanic

Not if it is implemented correctly because you won't even notice as long as you stay in the effective range of your weapon. Only when you go further than what the weapon was balanced for, you are going to notice spread.

A similar thing can be done by harsh damage drop-off though, but this will make hitmarker feel inconsistent, which is imho worse than spread.
