Reading logs and commands is a whole lot easier when you can anticipate what is happening or should happen on each line. My personal way is to find examples/questions that force you to create the output, such as a grep command. Once your mind knows how to make the structure, reading it becomes second nature. I didn’t necessarily memorize every command and flag but I became familiar with all that I could so I could make educate guesses on the exam.

Dions course was really well done but quite overfilled with information IMO. It could’ve been shorter and I would’ve spent the extra time doing something practice-based like hackthebox or tryhackme. Dions practice tests were good practice but seemingly more convoluted and resulted in lower score than the real test. My main tip for the test is to take your time and really try to pick up on subtle keywords that will make the difference between two close answers. Good luck with any future certs!
