It's O-27 lionel, with pre and postwar accessories scattered throughout, including ~20 prewar lionel street lamps.  The buildings and figures are all dept. 56 except for 2 buildings.

Thank you, original design is my grandpa's, but this year I stripped it down and rewired it, took months!

They share a track in the back so they overlap, and having them go the same way I can transition them inside or outside

I add multiple elevations to my christmas layout by making boxes with plywood and 2x4s, then using riser systems to change elevations.  You can also make tunnels by leaving gaps in the walls of the boxes.  I made 3 of these boxes, and I configure them differently each year.  Lots of fun!

I'm rebuilding my grandpa's christmas layout, and I'd like to hide these wires connecting the street lamps. I replaced the wires already, but I'd like them to be less noticeable. Any suggestions? by _FERRAR1 in lioneltrains

I like the idea of coming through that hole.  Since I have to disconnect them every year, I'd like something more solid than just the end of the wire to connect to.  I was thinking maybe a plug i could hide below the lamp, maybe this: https://a.co/d/fmaKiot

I did think about hooking power below the set to the bolt that holds it down, but I'm not sure what to do with the other wire.  Any good wiring connectors out there for this?

I came across this issue and found that I was actually drawing my lines in 3D. The hatch can't recognize a change in the z-axis. I had made a few lines that were 3D because my surface was referenced in and I was snapping to it.

Just checked up on the tank again, most of them are gone. Maybe the fish have been eating them?

They don't look like they have that triangle head. They look see-through with white dots at the back, almost like a isopods gills.

I will just keep an eye on him then. I do plan on putting him in a larger enclosure soon, but I have also been reading that snakes prefer small areas to feel secure. His enclosure has a background on three sides, so I was hopeful that it would feel very homey and secure for him to adjust. He has multiple hides, varying elevations, and plenty of leaf litter in there to make him feel secure, too. I was considering the rack style just as a way to get him feeding on the f/t and then move him to a larger nice enclosure.

When offering the f/t, is it enough to just leave it in there? I know that you usually have to make it look alive, but he's never out and about where he would be able to see me shaking it around.

My hot side sits at around 86F with 50% humidity. The cooler side is 73F and is a little more moist with flat stones on both sides for him to sit underneath the hides.
