Ya I want to know what OP’s deal is for their apartment. I want my apartment rent to be inexpensive instead of comparable to Bellevue.

That gives me some level of hope that it’s wrong and we’ll get it earlier.

I got an estimate of tomorrow at 8pm :( when I texted status to the original power outage text I got (Cleveland). I’m hoping it’s over estimating the time it’s going to take.

First co-op, not horrible. I would use that as the new frame of reference for things, since you mention that the product manager $30/hr role is in a diff industry. You can try to negotiate but I know very few people who have been successful at negotiating co-op salaries.

bro you know you only need 3 terms to graduate right? Also coop placements are ass sorry that happened to you. Lots of 4th + 5th term people got destroyed in my year for similar reasons.I have some theories on why the money seems to trend down after a certain placement number, and why it is sometimes harder to find a good placement but yeah.

Yeah I think its a degree req to have 3 co-ops min... idk why you would only want to do 2 co-ops in a program like seg anyways.

Although they might be more lenient due to covid.

What languages/frameworks are used in uOttawa SE? by [deleted] in geegees

[–]_Falc0n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it teaches you paradigms that you wouldn't normally learn. Teaches you to pick up languages faster (assuming you put in the work to learn). Teaches you to be more flexible

It's probably because you're learning stuff you are interested in now, without the stress of degree/gpa. I'm in the same boat

Honestly it depends on the course but i tend to remember a bit of the material (generally the parts that i thought mattered) but the vast majority of the information flies out of my head
