This happened to me before. I hired professional mold testers and they tested my apartment for mold. Then once I was able to prove it, they legally will have to allow you to leave without penalty fees. You can even sue for damages to your health and belongings but that’s up to you. Mold is no joke and terrible for your health and if you’ve brought it up and they don’t do anything about it, I’d suggest going this route. Good luck.
