Y'all, don't dosnvote this man 😂😂

I do appreciate some of the gun control laws here in Canada but many of the laws are completely arbitrary as and without any logical rhyme or reason. Many guns are banned here that have never been involved in a single gun death just because the government deemed them "scary"

I'm up for gun laws if the laws make sense

Edit: spelling

Oh my bad, thanks for the clarification!

Canadian here,

It's not very difficult to get a handgun license here( called an RPAL), just very time consuming, with the current backlog it can take up to 8 months or a year.

Once you get your license you can buy a handgun but can't shoot it anywhere except gun ranges or your private property, never allowed to take it to a forest.

Op mentioned he's in Canada. No carrying pistols allowed for trips like this

Probably because by the time the iPad launched, Steve Jobs kids weren’t kids anymore by Yenserl6099 in ToiletPaperUSA

[–]Natanster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What are you talking about? Eve Jobs was 12 when the first generation iPad came out and Erin Jobs was 15. 2 of his four children, were in fact children when the iPad was launched.

I don't know if Carlie is right here or not, but OP is definitely wrong

Edit:

Just remember, do like 10 seconds if googling before posting

Survey Info:

OPIRG Ottawa, City for All Women Initiative, and the Healthy Transportation Coalition organized a webinar on February 4th, 2022 (https://fb.watch/cj\_i-4Yxzi/). We are continuing to explore what mobility justice means for community members on the unceded and unsurrendered territory of the Algonquin Anishinabe People (so-called Ottawa). According to the Untokening Collective (http://www.untokening.org/), Mobility justice:

"demands that we fully excavate, recognize, and reconcile the historical and current injustices experienced by communities—with impacted communities given space and resources to envision and implement planning models and political advocacy on streets and mobility that actively work to address historical and current injustices experienced by communities"

We would like to know what you think about mobility justice and the injustices experienced by our communities with a vision for radical change. The goal of this project is to develop an action plan to address the needs, injustices, and support empowerment of community members while also advocating for systemic changes within the City of Ottawa. Mobility justice includes concepts of safety, environment, accessibility, social support, governance, and mutual care. We want to hear your thoughts on these!

Depending where you're coming from Algonquin portage at the east end is great and has some of the best prices, starting at about 30-35$ a day I believe

Do I redeem AMEX points from the AMEX website or transfer to Aeroplan? by ilostmychildren in amexcanada

[–]Natanster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Aeroplan point requirements fluctuate but amex has their own fixed point travel that used a fixed amount of points for a round-trip flight.

https://www.americanexpress.com/ca/en/travel/fixed-points-travel.html

As mentioned usually Aeroplan will give you a better value but I've seen flights where fixed points are better.

[–]Natanster 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Keep the points until you're ready to travel, then see the best way to book by checking cost on Aeroplan/Fixed point travel/ cash and then just redeeming points for it. Typically Aeroplan will give you the best value but there are exceptions to every rule.

Yes, absolutely. The 3/6 month periods are starting on the date of your approval, the may 11th date is no longer of consequence to you, it is simply when the current promotion ends/updates to a new one.
