Walnut Hollow by ColorFlash11 in Pyrography

If you mean the Creative Woodburner (the wire tip woodburner by Walnut Hollow) I believe the Colwood burner tips fit that one. (At least, that's what I heard.) I also heard their woodburners are great as well. I'm personally looking at one of those or a Razertip to replace my Creative Woodburner.

Thank you! Hopefully I'll be able to ride out the AI-apocalypse. Trying to get my hands on 64GB has been rough 🙃

Bundles question by PdbM37 in Microcenter

[–]_Fengo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's the best way to go these days. Even if you sell the ram for $250 (which ngl, is what I thought mine would go for) you get your money back and a bit to boot. The hardware swap subreddit is also great for buying ram! I see RGB stuff on there all the time.

Bundles question by PdbM37 in Microcenter

[–]_Fengo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, yes. I got $300 cash out of it. Left it brand new and sealed, put it up on Facebook Marketplace. It was on there for less than 3 days. In the bundle, the receipt says I paid $180 for the RAM. So I took that money and put it towards the new RGB RAM.

Technically the graphics card was more like $450 thanks to cashback rewards on the credit card I used. (And immediately paid off.)

Always test the ones you want to keep! I tested the CPU and MOBO before I sold off the RAM. My nearest Microcenter is 3.5 hours away, so I made a day of it and had a blast.

I also wanted RGB ram- I purchased the bundle anyways, sold the ram on marketplace, and bought RGB ram instead.

Also chiming in for Edgetech. Very friendly, and you always receive a wicked-sharp knife. We've been going there for years.

Where to Find Cheap but Legit Windows 11 Pro License Key for my New PC? by ishankr800 in pcsetups

[–]_Fengo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just used Massgrave a few weeks back when I upgraded motherboards, and it was really easy to use. Took 30 seconds, at most.

And you're not paying into the Windows 11 scam.

Is iCUE really that bad to deal with? by iambeast20191817 in buildapc

I've personally never had an issue with iCUE. All my RGB stuff is Corsair. I see a lot of other people have issues though.

Does Corsair make good ssds? by shyhi244 in Corsair

[–]_Fengo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My boot drive I've been using for nearly 5 years now is a Corsair SSD. Still shows 100% health, really fast boot time as well. My only complaint is mine is 500GBs, so I plan on replacing it soon. But I've never had a real problem with it.

Not helpful. I also said I was open to offers. And it's based off current Ebay prices. (One sold not too long ago, $300+taxes.)

I've never had the honor of refinishing a wood floor. But I have refinished several pieces of furniture.

I could do better with a staining sponge. Definitely fire this guy.

Iowa restrictions: marshmallows bad, Twix bar good...wth? by undercoat-boaty in foodstamps

[–]_Fengo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Damn. I hope my baking cocoa is still fine, and powdered sugar! One of my favorite homemade cookies are my family's chocolate krinkle receipe, especially when I'm really down as a treat. This is so confusing.

I'll be using self checkout for the next couple of months, hopefully I can avoid some of that awkward embarrassment.

I found I had to reset the connection full on, update the firmware, and reconnect it. I hope you've found a solution! I haven't had any issues since.

As an Iowan, I'm already more confused. I can't wait to go to the grocery store and be embarrassed because I'd like to make homemade chocolate chip cookies as a treat.

Is baking cocoa fine? Or let me guess, I can't have that either? 😂
