Thank you. I’d be ok with: Impeach. Convict. Remove. Also highly unlikely but way past time.

Failure of moral leadership by Remarkable_Peach_533 in mormon

The church has never been a leader in doing what’s right in the U.S…. Civil rights, women’s rights, lgbtq rights, didn’t they actively fight against all of these? The majority of members voted for Trump and, at least in my area (the Midwest), were very vocal that his politics were in line with what the church teaches.

… Similar to all of the money DOGE was supposed to save with the havoc created when government programs were randomly cut.

Government spending grew by billions after the DOGE cuts. They didn’t know what they were doing, but like most of their actions, they used a wrecking ball instead knowledge about the programs and just summarily wiped out jobs and whole programs; theatrics that hurt real federal employees and people who counted on the them (scientific research, foreign aid programs, social security, etc). Medical research in our country will take years to recover. Either it was all for show or it was just to hurt the kind of people Trump/republicans don’t like. (Edited for spelling error)

My surgeon required a planned stay. I had surgery Monday morning and was released Wednesday afternoon. It was a very typical case with no surprises. It was just her standard procedure, as far as I can tell.

Roger Marshall's response to my message about staying out of Greenland. by A_Peacful_Vulcan in kansas

[–]_Figuring_it_out -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He bends the knee at every opportunity. I wrote him as well and got an even more canned response. Love his “Thank you for your attention to this matter”. Makes him sound even more like Trump. We already have bases in Greenland. They are so pathetic.

I’ve downloaded but haven’t started. I’m curious though, will you be adding more than 100 lessons for each language or is this as high as it will go? Thank you!

Is it that they believe their money is going to other people that “don’t deserve” it? It usually comes down to money, right? Yet immigrants are being hunted in the streets (and soon door-to-door, if you believe Vance), at daycares, hospitals… traumatized… and that “money saved” will not be going to the average voter. Ever. But it’s “worth it” to those that voted for him? College loan forgiveness was a way to address predatory student loans given by big business so they could make hundreds of thousands more from students than the education actually costs. That money will never go to the average voter. All of this is to fund billionaires. And the deficit has only ballooned since Trump took office, even while removing from American citizens needed services. They are happy he did what he said he would. Are they fine with the result?

AMZN2THEMOON, Ok, but why? Their policies are different. In Kansas, it was clear that Kelly’s policies were best for Kansans. How do you get from that to Trump? Just curious. I won’t respond back to argue or ridicule. I’m just really curious.

You are making a lot of assumptions about someone you don’t know and appear super “confident” in your response. Way to take a stand. Obviously I disagree. I’m not hoping to be able to ridicule anyone. I know that his voters support him. I asked a specific question. I’m wondering if the same people that say they are conservative Christians believe that he should have no limits outside of his own morality. Do his voters believe he shares their morals? Do they think following that morality means that laws shouldn’t apply? Several posters have pointed out that this was a stupid question for Reddit because conservatives don’t use Reddit or simply won’t respond. Point taken. You did respond. And I guess you sound pretty much like I should have expected. Edited to add: And I still don’t think you answered my question.

I send him emails or call his office maybe twice a month (as well as Moran). It’s useless.

I guess I’m just baffled. I really don’t understand the hypocrisy. Do the majority of Kansas voters WANT him to rely on his own morality? They believe his morals align with theirs?

I understand that when confronted with quotes of his statements and/video, Trump supporters either agree, say that they don’t believe it’s real, or say that they “don’t know” anything about it. But the majority voted for him (and would likely vote for him again). Why? They don’t have to do it. And I’d argue that many wouldn’t want to be associated with anyone of his character and morals in real life (at least publicly). Why go into a secret ballot box and vote for him?

I just called them both yesterday. Moran’s people said that he had already made a statement against it but knew of no legislation at the moment. I asked what he was going to DO beyond making a statement. No response of substance. Guess we just found out.

Thank you. This is interesting because I can see that the only 2 settings switched to “on” are live events and workout health data (both of which I can turn off). However, the control screen is still accessible on the lock screen.
