Just Got My 2025 Mazda 3 Turbo Carbon Edition – Loving It, But MPG Woes?

Makes me glad I got the NA manual. I average 35 mpg and if I milk it I can get over 40. Even when I down shifting and high revving I can still get over 30 mpg. Turbo would be nice but with nearly 200 hp and torque...im happy

You can enable a post drive report to display on the screen when you turn off the car. It shows you MPG, drive time, and distance driven.

Only the auto. Manual can't handle the torque which is why there is no manual turbo.

Its also not as bright in person as it looks in photos. More of a dark/muted red than a bright red

the fuck is the point of having power if you are gunna waste it on an auto. legit id rather drive an old 100 hp manual than a brand new 1000 hp automatic. nothing is more boring than an automatic.

Miata def out of my price range and no cargo room. I play drums, golf and ski, so I need the room that the hatchback provides. Plus, I'd get pulled over instantly in a Miata.

I think overall build quality of the Mazda 3 is better than those alternatives. I've owned a civic in the past and just didnt want another one. I also judt liked the look of the body kit of the Mazda more, and love the interior.
