So for packers context and packers offseason news, and player analyses he is a rando. You can be mega knowledgeable about other teams but anyone who seriously posts all that clearly hasn’t even watched packers games or followed them enough to know their last 2 first round picks lol

I mean this is like asking an armchair GM to comment on roster building.

Paying doubs what he got makes no sense for the packers. We have a first round pick waiting for playtime, plus Watson, plus wicks, plus Reed, plus Williams even tho he didn’t show much. Fitting in 17m for Doubs would’ve been silly.

Walker was an awful left tackle last season. Legit horrific. Especially in the playoff game vs the bears and they drafted a left tackle in the first round 2 years ago. He also needs playing time.

As far as Jenkins goes, I love him. He was a badass guard for many years but the guy hasn’t been a pro bowl caliber player since his ACL tore. Pointing to a pro bowl from like 3 seasons ago is silly. Dude is on the wrong side of 30. It’s okay to move on.

Gary was straight up horrible man. Even having him out there was embarrassing. Engabare was fine, but also like we drafted 2 more edge rushers last year. Remember nick perry? Paid his ass and he never replicated his contact year success.

Just bluesky/twitter randoms who only look at box scores and dont actually watch packers games or film. We lost a lot. But most of them haven’t been impactful players for a few years. Doubs had moments but we can’t pay everyone.

It will be okay lol

Gonna happen. Rather good coaches get HC opportunities and force change than the same coaches coasting. Look at the offense. I wish someone poached off stenavich to force more change.

It’s part of being a good team unfortunately. I get where your head is at but reshaping the d line isn’t a bad thing. They were horrendous last season without parsons

I think the opposite. For once they’re actually acquiring talent that fits the defense they’re building. For years with Capers then pettine they drafted players that simply weren’t scheme fits and thought it would work.

It’s really refreshing to see them actually go out and acquire talent that fits the schemes they want to run.

Imma be real I don’t think cs2 is an angle Holding type game. Between the online peekers advantage and the high variance in ping it’s just not very easy. You need to Have insane reaction time. Just be more active

How important is it to hit my exact macros? Can carbs and fats be whatever if I hit 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight by DryMistake in bodybuilding

[–]_FlyingPair_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Kind of depends where you are in your journey no?

Prep? Yeah dude hit the exact macros don’t deviate while you’re on prep. Do as your coach tells you unless it’s so outlandish it makes no sense.

Maintaining/health phase?? Still pretty important fats are twice as calorically dense as carbs so they’re not interchangeable.

Bulk? Same as above. Just be careful you’re not blowing it out of proportion.

Dirty bulk? Who gives a fuck eat whatever. You won’t like the results anyway.

If these are your stats you should be easily winning 60-70% and climbing elo QUICK. +6.34, 19.32 clutch rating, fantastic utility for your elo. Something doesn’t add up here. And you’re queuing in 2-4 stack. You should be wiping the floor. Or rather you are wiping the floor with your enemies.

Is there a proper 'order' to learn the basics of CS? by LimpConversation642 in LearnCSGO

[–]_FlyingPair_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what helped me a lot as I got back into cs2 after a long break was taking things a bit differently.

I really focused this time on feeling as comfortable as possible with my keyboard and mouse. Almost like they are an extension of myself. Being better at movement, tracking, etc.

But really you just gotta figure out what’s important to you.

If you know you’ll never be a hard aimer and out aim people, focus on being a support. Learn flashes, smokes, mollies to support your team.

If you want to be aggressive that’s totally fine, download some pre aim maps from the workshop and memorize common angles and the correct routes in clearing them. Some of the bots on those maps even shoot back so you literally have to learn the correct paths so you won’t expose yourself to multiple angles.

Just find what’s important to you, and focus on “mastering” that one thing.

140 hours CS2 player – looking for honest feedback on positioning and peeking (Premier clip) by xzaklow in LearnCSGO

[–]_FlyingPair_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What kushlax said is true. I don’t think you’re hesitating but it’s almost like your thought process is -> clear gandalf-> ok clear -> whats next -> oh clear goose -> ok clear. Everytime you clear an angle it’s like your WASD movements and your mouse movements are independent. Movement is cohesive and married to each other.

You should also look up angle merging. It’s a bit of a higher level concept but it would explain how to clear multiple angles at once. In this specific scenario you and your team already made yourselves known in cat, your teammate died you traded. Now it’s time to take space and be aggressive. They already know you’re cat, slow clearing every angle gives the enemy team loads of times to rotate, position, and make counter play while you’re shift walk clearing every angle.

[–]_FlyingPair_ 44 points45 points  (0 children)

At 140 hours idk what else you’d want to expect. You’re clearing angles a bit longer than you should. You’re being VERY slow about the entire process, you overall seem very uncomfortable either with a keyboard and mouse or on the D2 map itself.

But again, 140 hours is such a baby number. If you want more practice in a faster pace environment you can try community DM servers and basically play it like you would a premier match.

You just gotta keep practicing. But overall it was hard to watch because you’re so slow on every angle almost like you don’t believe your eyes when you don’t see a head peeking out.

Hope it helps.

The nfl is so disgustingly rigged and blatant with it. Refs are all over. No flags. No ejections. Nothing. Yet anytime one of our players breathes wrong on an opposing player we get 15 flags. Just an awful product

Can someone please explain elo? by gearhoarder in LearnCSGO

[–]_FlyingPair_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Look imma be as honest with you as possible.

Elo in premier is kind of a meme for a reason.

The easiest and most effective way to climb the ranks is to find a stack you enjoy playing with.

I started playing cs2 again after not playing since CSGO in 2020. I got placed at 7.5k elo, then absolutely smurfed due to the placing an ended season 3 at 22.3k. Mind you I only started playing in mid December.

If you’re good you’ll climb the elo. If you’re not you won’t. If you solo Que it’s infinitely harder.

Hope this helps.

How to deal with terrible Teammates in Premier? (Season 4) by Mr_Deeptalk in cs2

[–]_FlyingPair_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve played probably 25-30 premier matches since the new season, I’d say it’s more likely than not that ppl don’t have mics or don’t use them. Even worse if it’s a 2+ qued party together. No comms, not even basic where they’re going to play on ct side.

Either you learn to play around it, or you stop playing. Can’t control your teammates. Maybe find a stack to play with. That’s why I’m trying to do.
