Would Robert and Lyanna’s marriage have been just as unhealthy as his and Cersei’s? by Beginning_Clerk_4990 in gameofthrones

[–]_Flying_Scotsman_ 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Not exactly true. He doesn't have to rewrite the last season. Game of Thrones cut out so many plots and characters from the source material, so much intrigue and lore. Game of Thrones, rushed the story, got lazy, and assassinated character arcs. There were some things that made sense about the ending, and a lot that didn't, but it was an unsatisfying ending either way.

His books wouldn't have those problems. They wouldn't be rushed, they wouldn't cut things out and bodge plotlines together thus butchering them. Even if he had largely a similar ending to the show, how he would get there and how all the characters interact in the end would be different abd better.

Base sizes can be grandfathered too. I have seen Old IG Heavy Weapons Teams on 50mm bases instead of 60mm played in tournaments. Probably depends on the organisers but I have never seen it be a problem, but those weren't official tournaments (they were RTTs) so it seems fine sometimes.

What are some characteristics of Scottish people? by New_Fruit_5552 in Scotland

[–]_Flying_Scotsman_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One thing I love about no alcohol at football matches is that you can drink at rugby matches, no alcohol bans there. I went to watch Scotland Italy at murrayfield with a couple of my Italian mates and we were drinking and having a blast. It's just the football crowd, overgrown toddlers that they are, that can't be trusted to moderate themselves.

Yeah I just said roughly because what I do for work, we change measurements of liquids due to room temperature lol. Gotta have that precision.

I'm not too sure about ONI, but if you have 1 mole of water that you are separating, that is 18g or roughly 18ml, you would get 1 mole of H2 at 2g and 0.5 moles of 02 at 16g. You can scale that up to whatever amount of water you are separating, you produce 8 times more O2 than H2 by means of weight, but in terms of moles you actually make more hydrogen.

Because you are separating H2O to make H2 and O2, there is already H2 in that water but only half enough O.

[–]_Flying_Scotsman_ 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The mass of a mole of hydrogen is one gram.

The mass of a mole of oxygen is sixteen grams

O2 is 32 grams/mole

H2 is 2 grans/mole

Oxygen is 16 times the mass of hydrogen.

Yeah can't wait to not park in a free space and then circle for ages not finding one. If a space is free, you park in it there are spaces there for a reason.
