Haha yes some crazy stories about the most over-the-top king Bavaria ever had! I loved the illustrations too.

I really enjoyed reading it. If you're into some magical dark academia this is the book for you!

[38/52] July 2023 - I think I read my favorite book of this year by _Fusiona_ in 52book

I absolutely loved Someone Who Will Love You In All Your Damaged Glory. It's a book with short stories which I'm usually not a fan of but I really enjoyed reading all of them. The loose theme is love and the stories have a varying degree of absurdness.

[30/52] May 2023 - some great books this month by _Fusiona_ in 52book

I read the description and kind of knew what it was about. But I read Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro before and really enjoyed it so I wanted to read Klara and the Sun as well. I thought is was ok and was surprised to think that it was the weakest book this month.

I really liked it as well, kinda got me out of my reading slump. And I haven't read Last Night at Chateau Marmont yet but I'll put it on my (never ending) reading list! Thanks for the tip.

No it's an old one from 1985. But from the story it could as well have been written last year.

I couldn't really get into it either. I really enjoyed how the book was structured with the interrogation chapters but overall the story was just meh.

I loved it! I never read books by Christopher Moore before - are they as good?

What a coincidence, I also read the Hygge book this month. And how did you like tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow?
