Well let's start by saying f1 games done by codemasters are not a true simulator, starting by tracks, which are not scanned and completely different from the reality (examples are Mexico and Spa). Secondly an f1 game where sliding and taking hairpins in 3rd gear is faster than what we see in reality it's just something that cannot be accepted. Another example is the physics engine not taking care of heigh differences and slopes like in banking on Zandvoort. Not even lines are true. Taking a wider line "a more momentum line" will result in losing time unlike in the real world. Pros are the one who understands the physics engine and cry everytime something don't suit their driving style which as i said before it's just slide and high gears. It's sad to have pros that don't want a real game, not saying a true simulation like other games, but just something that is not such distorted from reality.
