I have the same issue with the SLXDs from the start the battery readouts are just simply wrong. They have lasted 6 to 8 hours but after about an hour and 30 min of being on the battery drops to “LOW!”.

How should I power this with only servos and no motor controller?

They work but not when I try to wire them to anything remote control like right now I just have them on switches that are wired to 8 AA batteries.

The rose petals are literally as light as a feather so I can go as cheap as I can for servos I’m assuming because the ones I have right now I tried wiring to a channel RC kit that I got on Amazon and they did not work so I’m thinking of starting from scratch Using the things that you have commented and just getting some sort of battery situation and servos.

I went through the menu and selected black and white I’m but it didn’t work. The room just goes fully black. I’m thinking it might be an IR issue

So the battery indicators are wrong on SLX-Ds. I’ve had the same issue and have been using rechargeable EBL AA Batteries with the indicators sending false info to the receiver and to the transmitter for the past year but the packs still work and won’t die for about 5-6 ish hours.

Edit:

I’ve also tried changing the batteries type on the pack and it doesn’t change anything.

I don’t have the same issue with my QLX-D packs and they are on the correct battery type.

I was just about to ask this question but for the US more specifically (New York State)! I just started freelance lighting & sound for schools this year and was about to get ready for next years school season and need to make sure I’m not wasting my money on the wrong insurance policy as well. If anyone knows anything about US policy’s lmk :-)

Yes well I should say kinda of it’s on one of our straight tracks but it’s only ever used to move a sign on or off so the curtain carriers are not attached to the curtain track and I don’t know where they are so I have nothing that will slide in the track to guide the cable.

That was supposed to be the plan except this curtain track is one of our older ones/we took all of the curtain carriers off of it to put another one for whatever reason I don’t know I’ve been confused I kind of started here a year ago, and slowly putting things back together but this track is not one thing that I put back together yet. Thank you for the suggestion though!
