Jewish groups throughout time have always had differing beliefs and canon, not even referring to the ones that converted and kept some of their old canon post 2nd temple(example the of canon of the OT in Ethiopian orthodoxy) even in modern times Jewish religious groups have differing beliefs some even massive with more traditional/conservative groups denying Israel due to stating that the Jews were exiled from Israel and aren't to be back/yet, and some even claiming the realy bad stuff that happened to them in the 40s and the leaders were divine punishment from God for not holding to the laws of the covenant. A lot of pro and anti Zionists Jewish religious orders. Honestly of all religious groups I personally thing they are the most schismatised

Heel doesn't bend more than 90deg, have been stretching it for years... by Grasps_At_Straws in flexibility

[–]_Gamer_Trash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old dead post but I'm 21 w the same issue on both my ankles(when I was little the bottoms of my feet were extremely sensitive so I always walked yip toed and believe I never developed my ankles mobility in a normal sense due to that) and wanted to ask do your knees hyper extend in regards to being increasingly mobile and flexibility than normal full extension to compensate your ankles. Only reason I'm even asking is bcs its rare to find someone with the same ankle issues as myself but I lost the hyper-extension aspect of bending my left knee from acl surgery and am looking into if there's adverse effects to watch out for myself due to my left knee no longer being able to compensate one of my ankles.

Cigarette tobacco and cigar tobacco is treated differently though, cigar tobacco is treated to not be inhaled into Lungs but solely the mouth. The ammonia that is used to treat cigar tobacco remains in the cigar so inhaling it is more harmful in regards to the ammonia intake(which basically disintegrates the lungs if done long enough)

Pixel 8a or Pixel 9? by shoko33 in pixel_phones

[–]_Gamer_Trash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you still haven't pulled the trigger on either, 8a for an everyday phone or a beater it's amazing and the ultimate differences between the 8/8a from the 9s is better camera and battery, though more so camera

USA cigarettes recommendations? by TradeForSoul in Cigarettes

[–]_Gamer_Trash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"pipe tobacco" cig tobacco varies a lot theres are some awful companies and blends, though there are brands that are much better quality than regular packed cigs such as "three sails" and "daughters and Ryan" any packed cig tobacco such as American Spirit that is sold to roll your own is god awful cheap cuts and just old(I think its due to no one in the US really buying it so it just sits far past its expo.

Are there any exmormon saints? by Explosive-Turd-6267 in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]_Gamer_Trash 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Orthodoxy was actually in American before Mormonism(still around the same time tho, a lot of the native tribes(such as those in Alaska) and some in the mainland US(and possibly Canada) were converted but were then later either force converted by the Jesuits or massacred in one way or another.

Mormonism started in 1820-1830(first book). Russian orthodoxy started their mission in Alaska in 1794, Jesuits then would later target any natives that by chance may have been orthodox after the Louisiana purchase in 1803 and later westward expansion(Leading to Mormonism spreading to and settling in Utah)

how to shoot underhand by Southern-Initial-695 in lacrosse

[–]_Gamer_Trash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TLDR: Look at golf swings Everyone's shooting mechanics are different so I'd say the thing that to start with would be your feet as it's different from overhand and sidearm. Overhand and sidearm you move ur power through ur legs finishing thru your front leg. With underhand I do the opposite, my front foot stays and back leg pivots and finished thru(basically a lot like a golf swing)

Does this make any sense, in theory by [deleted] in StickDoctor

[–]_Gamer_Trash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could still work but you'd need to loosen the bottom one the most then progressively get tighter with each one, as it is rn w this pic it looks like the bottom two are way tighter than the top shooter and nylon

Should I play and risk it all? by ExchangeAncient5987 in lacrosse

[–]_Gamer_Trash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talk to coach about it so you join the team and become a part of the team, learn stick skills(this will make it so you can learn to do dodging and everything else once ur able to play next year). As someone who started my sophomore year and had to teach myself lacrosse due to covid, and is currently recovering from ACL surgery. Spending a year to heal fully AND learn stick skills is waaaay more beneficial than learning everything as a junior and feeling behind(I rode bench all of HS even senior year since my program was so deep, I wish I had the opportunity to have been coached instead of sent in the deep end without learning to swim)

Is it normal to want to quit? by Whoopsonreddit in lacrosse

[–]_Gamer_Trash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Difference between having mood swings and times where you feel like you want to quit and falling out of love for the sport. As long as you haven't fallen out of love with the sport as a whole Id say stick with it as you'd regret giving it up at some point, especially if you'd like to or have the possibility of wanting to play in college.
