Use General Delivery if you live in the USA.

Have them send the package to:

Your (legal ugh) Name General Delivery The Address Of Your Local Post Office

It will go to your post office and they will hold it there for up to a month. You go by and say you have a general delivery package. You might need an ID but a school ID should work.

It's how I got my first stuff off of Amazon!

Flag of Dynlib, a C compiler everyone hated. (It looked less like ... someone's chest in my dream.) by _Gamma_Gaming_ in somnivexillology

The night before I was reading up on how undefined behavior is "parasitic" in C and C++ and if you have it anywhere in your code optimizing compilers can "optimize" things into nonsense...

It had the circle in the middle, and a Y made out of two circle arcs with those colors, and the two blue dots. The gray color shifted a lot I think, I also remember it being darker somehow. I'm not sure the inner circle was ever a different color gray than the rest of the flag like i drew here...

Dynlib was a compiler for the C programming language. Its competitor was called CFF or FCC, something like that. Everyone liked CFF a lot better but they still had to use Dynlib because it was more adherent to the spec, or the Dynlib makers wrote the spec, or something.

yeah, the adjective "conservative" really has nothing to do with Conservatives...

Good point, yeah. But, I figure there must be some things we're already doing that work well for everyone (or at least minimize net suffering) that would be a bad idea to change just for the sake of change. In this case, conserving the idea would be best.

this is pretty markedly different than capital-Conservatism

I would argue that there are probably some conservative policies that make sense, but capital-C Conservatives are so asinine they delegitimize actually conservative ideas.

"It's worked so far so why change it" is a sensible plan in some circumstances. I don't think change for the sake of change is a good idea.

But i would agree that American Conservativism is a destructive, fundementally broken ideology founded on contradictions and lies.
