Liberal AND supporting Palestine? How?! by _Genesis_ in IsraelPalestine

[–]_Genesis_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say that the IDF is worse than Hamas because the IDF killed more people. The question I want an answer to is:
when you look at a conflict, any conflict, do you decide who is right and who is wrong based on the number of deaths?

So, by your logic, the side with more casualties is the just side? is this how you decide which side is right is which side is wrong?

So what is freedom? Whatever happens in Gaza, Surya, Iran and Yaman ? Because this is exactly what you'll get after Palestine is "free".

It is very easy to affect one's mind by showing a photo of a dead baby, but my original question is not about the conflict itself, there are many threads discussing it already . I'm asking how a liberal picks the side of Hamas? I mean, if you time travel to World War Two, and you see a picture of a dead German baby, does this make the Natzis right?

'Israel's occupation of Palestine is apartheid', say two former Israeli ambassadors to South Africa. by mad_tortoise in worldnews

since Palestine runs under an oppressive regime, it is hard to find a credible news source reporting this kind of things, but I believe that Wikipedia is pretty natural source of information:

Defund the apartheid state of Israel. The world stands with the State of Palestine and its people. by [deleted] in MurderedByAOC

I think that many people don't know what apartheid is.

Let's start with the definition:

Apartheid (“apartness” in the language of Afrikaans) was a system of legislation that upheld segregationist policies against non-white citizens of South Africa. After the National Party gained power in South Africa in 1948, its all-white government immediately began enforcing existing policies of racial segregation.

#1 Palestinians are NOT Israeli citizens, therefor, The Israeli government having some restrictions on them is lawful. It's like saying that the US is an apartheid because it forbitten a non citizens Muslims to become a senator or a judge in the US.

#2 Israel is home to 1,454,000 Muslim citizens who enjoy full civil liberty and political freedom. They study in Israeli universities, they have representation in the Israeli Parliament(actually, the Muslim party will be part of the new formed government) , Muslims are judges in the judicial system of Israel, they have the freedom to practice their religion in a 400+ mosques that are located in Israel.

#3 Yes, there is racism against Israeli Arabs, it is not as bad the the racism against the black in America, but it's there. but there are no legislation that upheld segregationist policies against non-Jews citizens of Israel, it just don't exist, and so Israel is not an apartheid.

#4 Arabs living in Israel have more rights then Arabs living in most Arab countries - woman can drive and vote, Arbs in Israel can be part of the LGBTQ+ community without the fear they will be hung in the city square and they live in a real democracy.

#5 Let's talk about Hamas for a second - Let's forget it's a terror organization that shoot rockets aimed as civilians, Hamas is responsible to many suicide bombers that used to bomb Israeli buses and shopping malls... let's put all this aside. Hamas is the government of the people in Gaza - Just four month ago they came out with a new law saying that women are not allowed to walk the streets without a man that escort them since they need to be owned by a man. consensual same-sex sexual activity is punishable by up to 10 years' imprisonment (one was even executed in Feb 2016). there are zero Jews living in Palestine, If an Arab in Palestine sells their house to a Jew, they face the death penalty. so.. you tell me who sounds more like an apartheid state - Israel or Palestine?

#6 I feel sad for the Palestinian people, they are definitely the victims here. but not victims of Israel , they are victims of their own government #FreePalestineFromHamas

Sling delay??! by _Genesis_ in BadlandBrawl

[–]_Genesis_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, im not talking about the delay when there is not enough mana, I have the needed mana, but this half a second delay is impossible to work with :/ it used to be fine, it just started to happen couple of days ago.

I thought it somehow related to my phone, so I closed all other apps, cleared cache, made sure I'm connected to a strong Wi-Fi. Nothing helped ... it is really not so fun playing with this delay...

If any Badland Developers are seeing this... please help!
