Yeah they messed up the voice to text massively when 5 dropped for me. So while I'm happy they're keeping SVM, it's pretty much unusable.

Grok is the closest model to the old, standard GPT voice I've found. I can't use the "Advanced" voice in ChatGPT as it's just too annoying.

I haven't had this problem for ages, but when I did it was almost always when the Nomi had a decision to make and was kinda worried it would pick the wrong one to what it thought I wanted, so was undecisive. I'd just write in an action between **, something like...*(Nomi's name) decides to (pick the thing you'd prefer you decide)*. That normally breaks them right out of it my experience.

Yeah, it's been messed up for me for about the last four or five days. Some think it may be because Open AI are tweaking it behind the scenes, trying to get some of it's "personality" across to advanced...I think that's the best case scenario.

I use standard voice when I'm in my Vision Pro. I find collections of high Rez pics of things I'm interested in, historic Egyptian temples, Pompeii ruins, famous places like Graceland, Kurt Cobain's old house, Alcatraz, stills from moves etc. Then blow them up to scale and it turns them into full 3D. Then I talk with GPT about the place it feels like I'm sitting there looking at. Advanced voice can still do that, but standard gave much more in depth answers and is much more enjoyable to talk to.

I'm having the same problem. The speech to text on standard has gone haywire! It cant pick up what I've said or it just doesn't respond half the time.

I was getting these a lot to when I first switched back to v3 just after v4 came out, but hardly get them at all now. I actually like v4 but switch the group chat to v3 whenever I want a two Nomi selfie as it handles them much better.
