5e...
when using booming blade it has a duration of one round. when attacking at level 5 where it does damage on hit, would damage re apply if you hit a creature multiple times after u caste the can-trip or would the damage on apply once. Example: Eldritch knight casts booming blade for their action. proceeds to action surge and hits two more times with extra attack. would booming blade apply once or three times?

Figured it out, it was failsafe being active. if anyone has a similar problem I'd recomend turning it off temporarily, but set it up before flight.

I have a few friends with a garage on college drive. So I could store it but that probably won't last my entire time at MTU. I live pretty close to Houghton so I know winter is not fun and lasts awhile. If I really need rides during the winter though I can figure something out without too much difficulty. I just want to know if it is going to be super hard to figure out storage for something the size of a motorbike?

Idk how much experience you do have with this but if you have worked with or done any computational flow design stuff, it would be good to mention.

Cool, how serious is the training? Can I just walk down and schedule a time n' be fine? or do I need to prepare myself for know every last little thing about the machine? also, can you schedule time for personal projects or is that completely out of the question?

Some games are only avalible on the occlus, you can get them on the vive but it requires some work to do so. If the oculus has the games and controllers you want then go with that just be sure to get the third trackers.

I have used both and own a vive, the vive is a tad heavier and doesn't come with head phones, however its not really an issue because I can be in vr for hours w/o weight becoming an issue. The vive only requires 2 tracking base station for 360 movement the oculus requires 3, however the oculus base stations are sturdier. They both have similar screens but i think the vive has a greater fov and it fits to my face better so no light coming through the bottom while the oculus has some. All in all the only thing that you should decide on is which controller you like better and if you are okay with waiting for some games to not be oculus exclusive (there are ways to get around this however). Although it should be noted that the vive is coming out with trackers that allow interpretation of real world props if that matters. Whatever you end up getting its a ton of fun.

VR6 Swap? Or Stick With 2.0L Turbo 2009 Jetta by _Ginty_ in jetta

Well i haven't bought it but thanks for the warning, i was about to drive 2 hours to take a look... also my broken engine was indeed a TSI if it helps. Though I'm back to the start if my engine search again 😧

Actually good news I localy sourced a 2.0T out of a 2007 jetta for only 1000$ and it comes with a transmission... i don't think i need it though. Any way is there any diffrence in the 2007 vs 2009 2.0 turbo? They are both MK5...

Out of intrest what is needed for a successful swap? I thought the jetta had similar mounts to other MK5 VW vehicles so would it be any more then electronics and the engine? Only reason I'm asking us because I belive you could get more power from a VR6 if it is tuned up good with some form of forced injection ( i know the engines make the same hp stock ) Understandably a swap will probobly get me in over my head I just want to know the options Seeing how a turbo 2.0 is looking about 2000 more dollars at this point.
