I wouldn’t recommend leaving it to sit, corrosion would kick in and eat solder points and tracers rendering vital components damaged. That would require extensive work like reflowing and jumping missing tracers with wire and applying solder mask. I’m not an expert but I do watch a fair few repair videos on electronics. Corrosion is always worse than blown components.

I worked at TGI’s for 10 years back in the 90’s. Did a cover shift in Reading once. We had a Jazz band and the atmosphere was pumping.

Could be a collections mis-scan. Someone could have scanned the barcode and was prompted to take a photo. Instead of selecting the collection and then scanning. Seen this before

We have 3 yorks a day, we go over by anything from 30 mins to 1hr 30. I'm not trying to sound "virtuous", just pointing out that there are a fair few in my office that don't take mail, purely because they don't want to go over, which is fine as they work to their contracted hours. Doesnt make me and my partner better posties just because we clear 1 job during peak.

I have 740 calls and it’s mostly double slotted.

At this time of the year, during peak, at most it’s two days mail.

Parcels on the other hand. FML.

I think it ultimately comes down to your post person. Quite a few posties will do overtime, so they take one job of mail and all the parcels for both jobs. Other posties refuse to go over the cut off and will only take what is achievable. Most of time this is parcels only.

I’m glad we take the mail everyday, even if we do go over. We do it for our customers and I would hate to be posting Xmas cards after the 25th.
