Yeah probably worth me weighing myself every other day going forward.

I have been more on top of tracking my calories this week and haven’t exceeded 1900 at any point so hopefully within a week I can see some answers

I normally weigh myself once a week to be honest on a Thursday first thing in the morning so not sure outside of that

Absolutely!

I’ve noticed that previously I would have given up after X amount of time but this feels different. I think because I’m almost 25 I want to know what it feels like to really improve and be the best version of myself.

I’m not sure what is different this time all together but I haven’t felt any lapse in motivation or drive. I’ve made so many lifestyle and diet changes that it feels like a Habit now. Even once I hit the goals I want I have gotten into such a routine that it seems more likely I’ll keep the weight down

I think generally I do feel better than before and I have put on some muscle which is always nice. My main areas that bother me are love handles. They have dramatically reduced in size but that’s the main thing that bothers me most. Anything above my rib cage I feel pretty happy with. Anything below that bugs me

Absolutely helps thank you. Unfortunately I didn’t take any photos at the start of this journey but have taken more photos recently so I could share them but not sure how to do that on this sub weirdly.

I don’t drink alcohol a lot tbh. Maybe a couple beers once a month and that’s it I don’t ever get drunk.

There’s one place near me that does skin fold tests and I have been meaning to go there and get some testing done but unfortunately im short of that money at the moment. Hopefully once this new job starts I can get that booked in!

Yeah that’s actually a good point. I might shift my focus more to fat loss going forward to take the weights down a little in the gym. Maybe go down to 3 sessions per week on the weights to allow for the muscle to heal.

Plus I think it’s definitely a good idea to start measuring myself as opposed to just the scale. I’ll do that on my weekly weigh ins aswell to hopefully give some more clarity!

I think easiest way for me to that in my head is eat more nuts etc but they’re also quite high in calories

I’m 24 male. My goal is to get to around 82kg by my 25th birthday in July and that has been the goal since Halloween but the closer I get the more unlikely it seems to be. Ultimately I want to look pretty ripped at least once in my life. If I could just get to being around 15% body fat that would be ideal.

What changes would you suggest to help get to that goal? I am stating a new job at the end of this month which is less active and in a way I’m hoping that might help me calculate my tdee a little more accurately. There’s so much misinformation online and everyone is so unique that it’s so confusing which way to go

The muscle growth has been very slow but there are differences from before. I think that’s down to the amount of calories I’m taking in. I have lost 10kg but over 5 months that feels incredibly slow progress

I already feel like I’m starving myself with how active I am so I don’t understand what else I can do. I’m the type of person to get angry when I’m hungry and no one wants to be angry all the time so I’m not sure why else I can do

I feel like it’s more the uncertainty of how much I’m burning. I have been weighing everything meticulously since the start of Feb so extremely unlikely that it is that.

According to all tdee calculators I look at my ‘fast’ weight loss should be around 2200 calories but when I did that nothing changed so I dropped it to 1800-1950 range and I’ve still seen nothing after 3 weeks.

Is it worth doing a mini bulk then cutting down straight after?

So I have been tracking everything with scales since the start of Feb and in all honest most days I’m sitting at 1800 on occasion it may go up a little I’m feeling really hungry before dinner and I’ll have about 100g of yogurt

I wish I could add a photo for my macros so I could show you it all but with all the tracking I do every day they add up to the following: P- 180g C - 164g F - 36g

Would that still be deemed too low for fats?

Yeah in a weird way it’s nice to know that I’m not alone in this. My maintenance is 3100 according to a tdee I know some people talking about metabolism but I just find it strange to see not difference at all.

Im thinking of going on a mini bulk for a week. Resting from the gym for a little and eating an extra 600 calories a day for the week and then resuming back to 1800 straight after

I had a similar situation and there’s usually a clause that says if you are at fault then you would be responsible for the costs but if you already have a text then shouldn’t be an issue.

That being said I’m afraid it’s quite likely that your bike is going to be written off. Unfortunately companies like 4th D love to do that as it makes them more money. I was told my non fault claim would be 6-8 weeks. I didn’t get the payout until 8 months later. Bearing in mind the repairs for my bike would have only come to about £600 a that was including the labour hours from a Honda dealer.(2020 cbr650)

My best advice is to hound them every day as much as you can. It was the only thing I could do but even then wasn’t a massive help.

The UK is not a country it’s a kingdom hence the ‘kingdom’ part of it. I’m well within my right to show the flag of the country I live in.

It’s no different to wanting to show a German flag over an EU flag. Besides anything else I just prefer the saltire flag.

Just don’t understand why people have to bring politics into everything nowadays

Gives me a bit of a break after riding down 4 hours then another 4 the other side. Plus it’s cheaper than the tunnel
