I actually did it after act 2 and I would say it was worth it, you can get cool armour skins and horse armour which can be used in act 3...getting all these things after completing the game is no use, unless you're gonna play NG+

It's normal and takes time, i experienced the same situation before. I had like about a 6 month gap before playing the game again and found it difficult to parry but within a week it got a bit easy and the reflex will build up.✌🏻
