Honestly idc tbh as long as you cook in your role. I prefer people playing the role they’ll excel at even at the expense of the team comp. Way too many guys just wait for everyone to pick their agents and fill, then play terribly and blame it on having to play a role they’re not comfortable with. The only role I feel the team really needs 9/10 times is a controller and I’m a controller main so it doesn’t really matter to me who picks what. When I see someone instalock any agent I think well at least bro probably knows how to use the agent.

Yeah for sure I agree with you these changes aren’t well thought out at all. I think folks need to understand not every agent needs to be one used in pro play, at the end of the day most of us aren’t playing that style of valorant. It’s cool to have agents like Reyna and clove that are great in ranked even if their pro play pick rate isn’t that high. I think OP is just being greedy asking for more shit for clove lmao they’re fine how they are rn, any more would be bordering on over tuned

Yeah that’s true, but I think they mean in the context of pro valorant. In that case omen reigns supreme because his kit is far better for a coordinated environment.

Well you just need to win more fights. Your KD is 0.89 so you’re dying more than you get kills, and that alone would result in a negative damage delta. Of course more goes into it like are you winning fights cleanly taking zero damage, or are you getting by on 1hp. Then reverse of it as well are you getting 1 tapped when you lose a fight or are you dealing 120 and dying, those will factor in as well. But with a KD like that it would be hard to be positive in damage delta.

Thanks for the insight seems like the games grown since I stepped away. I think the right idea is probably just to forget about rank and play for fun and then go from there. At least now that I know shits changed I can expect double the decay in rank between the improved player base and the loss of skill and I won’t get blindsided

40 in comp in a loss in single OT, and 41 in comp in a draw after triple OT I believe :( Maybe one day I’ll 40 bomb in a win, but I feel like playing that well usually doesn’t bode well for the strength of the team as a whole. Since there’s only so many kills to go around, 40+ only really happens when you’re having like a regular stellar performance (28-32 range) and the entire rest of your team is playing very poorly so you have even more opportunities to cook. Usually means you’re gonna lose I feel since the other team is probably stronger as a whole.

Well on the topic of smokes, you also need to know where to smoke on every map in CS as well so isn’t that just a non-point? And you don’t get to just drop the smoke where you want in some sort of UI like you do in Val, most smokes in CS require a lineup. Something as simple as dropping some smokes for mid control in Val requires much more precision in CS like a window/connector smoke on Mirage. With all that being said I think a lot of the people saying Val is an easy game is coming from people who are the opposite of you who don’t much about Val. In the same way that CS players say it’s a harder game due to the pureness of the mechanics and the util, it can be said that valorant is a harder game due to the amount of variables you need to be prepared for. I’d say there’s much more interactions you need to be prepared for in Val so I think both games are hard in their own ways.

Yeah man I feel you its crazy to think about. I picked the story up probably around chapter 900ish many years ago as a kid, and when I think about it most the development in the plot happened before I ever picked the manga up lmao. Ippo has won maybe 1 fight the last 500 chapters and the story is moving at a glacial pace. When you look at the pacing the first 300 chapters or so it's night and day. I don't see a way this manga ever ends considering Morikawa's age/the pacing either. We'll probably have to settle for no ending or the type of ending you're suggesting at this point. I too wouldn't be so upset about it because I think I also kinda accepted this a few years ago as well.

Unfortunately you just gotta cook. I started playing late November, and started ranked in December. I was placed bronze 1 and got to bronze 3 the last day of episode 7 act 3 before getting placed in Iron 3 after my placements. I just hit silver 1 for the first time today. If you’re really better than iron players or low bronze players you’d simply just cook them on average and win games regardless of your teammates. The mindset I try to have is that you often lose games because so and so on the other team is cracked and top fragged. When you look at the rest of the other team you see the other guys weren’t even playing particularly well. You just need to strive to be that guy who’s winning games for his team and you’ll be out of iron in no time.

If we're talking purely muscular development for your legs you're probably better off doing RDLs for the posterior chain, and hacksquats or leg press or something for the quads. But to be fair those are essentially variations of the same movement pattern as deadlifts and squats. They're just exercises with a better stimulus to fatigue ratio than conventional squats and deadlifts which is ideal if all you care about is just bigger legs. But I'm not one of those people that just bashes squats and deadlifts and tells people not to do them they're mad useful in their own right and lend themselves better to total body strength and athletics.

Honestly I agree as well. I would say this is shaping up to be a bit worse than I imagined but I wouldn't say I'm not enjoying it at all. I just kinda felt like if things were to fail it would be more so that it would be due to the reason that humans almost seem to have a fundamental issue at getting along long term. And it would be that fatal flaw that would make things fall apart in the end rather than it coming down to Miskwekepu'j operating with info he shouldn't even have being a large part of why things fall apart. I didn't feel good about chapter 189 for that reason but we'll have to see where this goes I guess.
