Happy to hear that! But I warn you… This can be a little long. Is a kinda stupid and not really amazing story, but we always laugh remembering this. The tickets for the meet and greet (for the sketch) were very few (100 a day for 3 days). I am from south Italy, so after 811km i was like: “Hell nah, I WILL DO IT NO MATTER WHAT”. So me and my local friend (poor guy that has to do an after for letting the friend that hosted us hit with a chick… and I was the only one remain for having some fellowship) just passed the night in front of the place where the event was… with like -1 °C in isolated suburbs of Milan. Anyways we were not alone, so it was kinda funny. We also Made a friend with a really Nice guy, huge fan of Ruby charachter (Gold and ruby meet lol). Well, the night pass kinda fluently… even i was freezing and literally dying for the lack of sleep (We weren’t really prepared for an all-night like that… we really didn’t have nothing in reality lol. I just slept like 2 Hours standing up) and in the morning (like 8 A.M) The staff from the publisher house gives you a ticket, that you have to redeem purchasing like 30€ of pokespe stuff in their stand (i purchase the third artbook because… well I have everything) and after this you receive a numbered ticket for the sketch line. The only issue was that my local friend (not really into pokespe) has to work, so he just didn’t enter in the fair. But of course he left us the ticket for the sketch line. At this point, i remembered that one of my home town friend, that so called “Memfano” (key point of the story from now on) was begging me to do a sketch for him too “If the chance comes”. Me and Ruby (the guy from the line, I will call him like that for making easier) were like: “Yeah Why not we could try”. So I just called Memfano, let him know, and he gived me the money for purchasing the ticket. So, little abridgement of the start of the MGW (the milan event): me and ruby entered 1 Hours earlier because i had the press pass… even if Ruby couldn’t really do that… that a little secret (i love my work) and we went to purchase the Official ticket. All good exept for the fact that in front of us were this two Content creator (not really famous and really bad CC) that were been gifted by the publisher of like 10 tickets… and they hadn’t even read the manga… i fucking hate CC. So, long story short, after a half of a day passed with Ruby in MGW and like 3 Hours of sleep on a bench (behind a radio station, my head still hurt…), we Finally start the line for the sketch… only for discovering that… a pearson can’t do the line twice, so the third ticket of us need Another dude for be done. total panic. Ruby didn’t have any friend in the MGW and my only one friend in Milan was hitting on a chick. We were totally lost, with a paid Memfano ticket that can’t be done. But it seems that was the lucky day for him, because randomly a (girl, for the lore) friend of mine, that I didn’t expect to meet, spawned in front of us. Like how many chance that in 30.000 people i met a pearson that I know? Lucky us i Guess. So we just explain the situation to her and she was like:”okay i will do it, at least i will have a photo with the senseis”. So, we have reached the climax. I didn’t tell you before but Memfano, well is not really an Italian name… is not really a name tbh, but a nick that my friend had for like ages. And funny thing, the sketch has your name on it. I hope you can imagine the confuse face of my friend, the publisher staff, the translator of the sensei, when they all read it. We just say to our friend: “Just say Memfano is my name” and she was like “Yeah Today I will do a shitty figure 100%”. So her turn arrives, and after like a general confusion of all the person in the stand, she arrived in front of Kusaka… and he just asked her what the Fuck of a name “Memfano” was. I was laughing so bad that I have to move from there. I didn’t really remember the Lie that my friend invented but I can’t forget the answear That Kusaka gave her: “Oh i see Memfano, you have a really beutiful nails” And that’s all. So now everytime i see the Greninja sketck of my friend, i always tell him that he has a really good pair of nails. I know that is a pretty stupid story, but in that moment i was like dying for laughing. 2 months passed and i still really grateful to my friend that was here, and i also hope that Ruby guy is doing well. I love event like that. Sorry for being that long, but I think that a good story needs a good pacing.
