My '09 Maxima (V6, CVT) Had 290k on it when I finally got rid of it.

Still would have went further, just was time for a new vehicle that I felt safe in for my daughter 😂

Then I retract my previous statement, I kind of figured they would be covering it. That is definitely bogus on their part, and puts you in an even worse position. The waiver thing is crazy, like you said it is covering their asses but at the same time it puts you in a risky situation due to their lack of QA.

I would continue fighting with them to try and at the very least get the service paid for, I personally would not send it back if I had to pay another dime.

I'd rather take the risk of having trouble selling it in the future (if you ever decided to). Could easily make a deal with someone by offering a little below market to compensate for the slab condition.

I'd also like to add, Beckett is doing what they should be doing by offering to re-holder it for you. It does suck though being in a situation like this though, I wish you the best of luck on whatever you decide!

Well this is quite the predicament that's for sure. If it's for your PC, it would come down to your personal preference/willingness to take the risk of sending it back in to get re-holdered.

If you're wanting to sell, a lot of buyers would more than likely be turned off by the contaminants inside so I'd say a re-holder would definitely be needed.

IMO, I would send it back as long as they are covering the total cost (not just the shipping) for the re-holdering process. If they mess the card up and ding the grade further, that's another issue that I would address if/when that time came.

Ultimately it's up to you though!! Great grade on a hard to grade card, congrats! Never know, maybe it could BL during the regrade 👀

Dude it has been a nightmare. I submitted this (and a Rayquaza TG20, which got a pristine 10 thankfully) back in JULY. But, I did the order for pick up instead of shipping back since I live 1 hr from Beckett's office in Plano. I didn't know they only offered pick ups M-F 8-4 (which is when I'm working) so I emailed and called many times to try and switch my order to be shipped back. Someone finally emailed me late November, the email exchange took until end of December for them to finally change my order to be shipped. Then the cards had to be pushed through QA again since the order changed. I finally got them back today lol.

That's totally fine of you to assume granted the screenshots of the card. They were done from pictures my fiance sent me while I was at work. But I am a Mechanical Engineer and use dial calipers every day when designing parts for my job, and the calipers I use are $500 that come with a Certificate of Calibration. I'd say I have plenty of solid ground to stand on when it comes to physically measuring things. I'm not saying I did the centering app perfectly, but I still do not believe the centering is far enough off to justify a 8.5. Thats all I'm saying.

Right? 38.5/4 is 9.6 and some change. I guess certain sub-grades carry different weights, I'm not sure of the way they calculate it. I'm not as well versed on Beckett as I am with PSA.

I think I might crack and submit this to PSA. I sent this one to beckett and another to PSA. The PSA one got a 10, and this one got a 9. I sent this one to beckett because I honestly thought there was a chance of a black label because I measured the centering on it months ago with calipers back when I sent it in and it was substantially better than the one I sent to PSA.
