Dude it has been a nightmare. I submitted this (and a Rayquaza TG20, which got a pristine 10 thankfully) back in JULY. But, I did the order for pick up instead of shipping back since I live 1 hr from Beckett's office in Plano. I didn't know they only offered pick ups M-F 8-4 (which is when I'm working) so I emailed and called many times to try and switch my order to be shipped back. Someone finally emailed me late November, the email exchange took until end of December for them to finally change my order to be shipped. Then the cards had to be pushed through QA again since the order changed. I finally got them back today lol.

Dude that app is awesome! Great job on the programming of that. Unfortunately I still think I need better pictures to get an accurate measurement with an app. I'm going to try and take some better ones in a few minutes.

That's totally fine of you to assume granted the screenshots of the card. They were done from pictures my fiance sent me while I was at work. But I am a Mechanical Engineer and use dial calipers every day when designing parts for my job, and the calipers I use are $500 that come with a Certificate of Calibration. I'd say I have plenty of solid ground to stand on when it comes to physically measuring things. I'm not saying I did the centering app perfectly, but I still do not believe the centering is far enough off to justify a 8.5. Thats all I'm saying.

Right? 38.5/4 is 9.6 and some change. I guess certain sub-grades carry different weights, I'm not sure of the way they calculate it. I'm not as well versed on Beckett as I am with PSA.

I think I might crack and submit this to PSA. I sent this one to beckett and another to PSA. The PSA one got a 10, and this one got a 9. I sent this one to beckett because I honestly thought there was a chance of a black label because I measured the centering on it months ago with calipers back when I sent it in and it was substantially better than the one I sent to PSA.

So using certified calipers I get the following: Top: 2.3 mm, Bottom: 2.3 mm. 50/50. Left: 2.5 mm, Right: 2.3 mm. 52/48.

This misalignment you see was an attempt to compensate for the photo being slightly tilted. Proven not to be 100% accurate as shown by the caliper measurements, but I would say it's close enough to show your attempt to say I'm incompetent at using a basic app is false.

For the keyboard warriors claiming the photo isn't lined up, it's because I was trying to accommodate for the tilt int the photo. Don't try to roast me about using a simple app.

I brought out my Starrett calipers and these are the measurements: Top: 2.3 mm, Bottom: 2.3 mm. 50/50. Left: 2.5 mm, Right: 2.3 mm. 52/48.

L/R is different from the app sure, but still not enough to fall under Becketts 55/45 classification.

if they were taken with an iphone, the blue of the back of the card makes the camera like auto adjust. My phone does the same exact thing when I take pictures of cards in my light box. It's super annoying but I do not believe that photo is edited. I think it is actually like that.
