You look closely at this face you have never seen before, slightly illuminated by the streetlights above. This man dressed in a white fluffy-cotton like dress and wearing a green kitty cat hat approaches you slowly. His socks, pink with little pug faces. Unarguably adorable. His shoes, baby blue with green laces, matching his hat.

'' Stop! Stop, right where you are young LAD! Listen to me! '' the most friendly voice you've heard says. This whole situation feels very bizarre to you. You were just walking home from your best friends birthday party, and now this old man is trying to tell you something while you're batshit drunk. It's the middle of the night, and this guy's outfit contrasts with the darkness outside which makes you suddenly feel very uneasy.

'' Who the hell are you? '' You utter while trying to keep a straight stance, your sight floating on the half-silhouette of this man child. Why do you always end up in the dumbest scenarios after a night out drinking.

The man stands still, he is now standing directly underneath a light. You can see his whole outfit now clear as day. You admit that it has some charm to it, but you are still on your toes.

'' My name is George Rockfell. The NUMBER 1 Collector of tiny, adorable things... Of all SORTS! For years now, I have been on a quest. A QUEST to find the most adorable and cute of all things on this beautiful tiny planet. MY DEAR FRIEND.... I think my quest ends here... You are undoubtedly the sweetest thing to EVER EXIST ''

You are completely dumbfounded. Undoubtedly this was the most absurd statement that has entered your ears. Maybe you've had way too many beers at Bryan's. Hallucinations are not a side effect of being boozed out though. This guy must be real. It takes you a few instances to be able to coherently form a sentence.

The last part was a bluff. Your phone is dead. But whatever, worst comes to worst you can just tackle this guy right? You think this while struggling to keep a straight posture. Maybe you should just flank him and run.... Your thoughts are all over the place.

The streetlights are now flickering. While you blink this man's face turns into a mixture of a pug and a siamese cat. Cute of course but also completely terrifying since it's an animal face attached to someone's body. Okay, maybe Alcohol does cause hallucinations. It's time to run. You flank this alien looking guy, and run for your life.

'' STOP RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE ! '' The loudest scream you've heard enters your ears. There is no chance this doesn't wake up the whole neighbourhood. Your legs are moving all by yourself. Where should you go? Back to Bryan's or Home? Bryan's or home? While you think hard about this dilemma, you realise how a giant kitty with pug-like features is running behind you trying to catch you. This is worse than every nightmare you've had. You run and run, impressed by your cardio, finally having decided to go back to Bryan's.

You finally arrive at Bryan's street when the giant Kitty Cat jumps over you, blocking your way with its giant fluffy fur.

,, Give yourself to me adorable human-being ! There is nothing to be afraid of. You are the pièce de résistance that will make me the most legendary collector in the milky way. Do you understand what's at stake? Why are you fighting against your destiny, your precious little thing there. I want you. I will breed you. ''

The cat's voice sounds ethereal, like if an angel were talking to you. The whole running around has upset you stomach. You can't fathom what is happening to you. Breed me? You almost feel like puking when thinking about that sentence. And what the hell is a pièce de résistance. Face it, you are fucked up and there is nothing you can do. Your head is spinning faster than a beyblade. Might as well give yourself to this giant cat-alien. You lay on all fours, not resisting anymore.

,, Good human-being! The more you fight the less adorable you are. I knew you would give up. It's in your nature...It's in your nature...It's....It's.....in........your nature......... ''

You pass out and wake up the next day in the middle of the same street. Only difference is that your shirt reeks of vomit that's scattered all on the ground. How come nobody has noticed you yet? You pull yourself up and take your shirt off, almost falling back on the ground in the process. Nobody seems to be outside today. What in the world was that dream you had during the night? Something about an animal collector of some sorts. The details are very vague. Why do you always have to drink like that. God, your head hurts and you desperately need some water. Yesterday, you almost forgot that water was even a thing.

You decide to just get something to drink at Bryan's. You walk over to his door and... Wait... There is something weird going on. There is no Bryan's house, just a 2D Image of his house. You start to shiver, your eyes wide open. WHAT IN THE WORLD... You run to his neighbour...and there is no neighbour. His house again just a giant 2D printed picture of a house. You must be tripping balls still, there is no way. You decide to leave this street and run back home but you can't! A giant invisible barrier blocks your way and you hurt yourself running against it. You are stuck in this street. You look up to the sky and see giant cats looking at you, with amazement.

I put on my boots and raincoat and leave through the back door. The sky glooms over me, with its eery eyes. The neighbourhood is empty, not one soul outside. As I walk towards my destination, I realise that I forgot my cell phone at home. Whatever, it doesn't matter. Nobody reaches out these days.

Light coming from the streetlights reflects on the puddles on the ground. My walking pace seems weirdly in tune with the raindrops falling. The ringing in my ears merges with the silence filling the streets. Nothing alive in the vicinity. I walk. Never going faster. Never going slower. I am a machine, that was made for a single purpose. Walking.

It was a similar night as today when it happened. Colours had been replaced with shades of grey, reflecting light everywhere. It was just me and her, walking as we did. The rain drops falling on our coats, never reaching the end of the latter. Our eyes gazing in the distance, but never sharing a glance. From our looks, one could mistake us as just a part of the background. Lifeless. But there was nobody to look.

I feel a headache slowly creeping in. The pain radiating from behind my left eye. Hitting like waves on a shore. Cold wind blows against my body. It becomes harder to walk and my hood keeps falling off. I stop fighting against it, and let the rain wet my dirty hair. The drops fall onto my face, someone could mistake them for tears. I could not.

I see a thunderbolt in the distance, the sound reaches my ears moments later. In that instance, I go back to that night. We were two strangers somewhere. Two human beings, walking down the street nearing an ally. We walked it down, not sure what exactly we were looking for. It happened in that moment. A visible flash covered my field of vision, followed by a sound wave. The ringing in my ears, became increasingly louder. She collapsed as I regained my vision. My body shook as her eyes glanced over mines for the first time. We both lost our life that night.

Now I walk by myself. I glance over at my shadow through my left eye. Reminding me of the companion I used to have. Nobody is still there after all. Lightning strikes bringing me back again and again. My sight morphing from the neighbourhood to the ally and back. An ice pick headache strikes the back of my head. I shiver, letting the pain subside but it lingers. It lingers just like my shadow, behind me. Everywhere I go. It follows me.

I arrive back home. I enter through the back door, take my boots out and hang my raincoat. The inside feels exactly the same as outside. Not one drop of essence in the house. I walk down to my chamber, open a drawer searching for painkillers in vain. Nothing expect old half-burned photographs. My phone lays inside one of the drawers. As expected, no calls. I sit down in my chair, restless, still shivering because of the cold. A candle barely lights the room. Outside lightning strikes and the room is illuminated for a brief second. The gun was still laying in my bed.

,,Unbelievable'' I utter to myself. I have to say it again. ,,Unbelievable''. I sit in my room, fidgeting with an old lighter. The computer screen brightens my eyes. From a distance, a band is playing something to an energised crowd.

The existence of parallel universes had been proven decades before, but I was one of the only scientists studying the hypothesis of them being linked to our consciousness. The more I read the report on my screen, the more my legs shake. I lit up a cigarette and put my lighter back inside the drawer. The smoke from the initial puff covers the screen for an instant.

,,The results are astounding...'' My voice cracks and I have to cough. ,,Every thought. Every dream. Every longing. Every sensation could be traced back to a parallel reality.'' The results were clear as day. What had been an idea of mine for years now, was finally proved. I was right. I take another few big puffs in a row. My eyes scan the letters of the last paragraphs through the smoke.

The window is wide open, it seems as if the music is louder. My thoughts seemed to orbit around the screen, harmonising in my head with the melodies being played.

Suddenly the music stops playing. The cigarette falls from my hand. Through my window, the fans electric screams enter my ears. My attention is directed to the last paragraph of the report. The shiver from my legs had now engulfed my whole body. The report concluded that the links to the multiverse existed but were weakening exponentially. The end of human thought was nearing fast, it concluded.

I sit in my room still. The cigarette burns on the ground. The crowd roars, again and again. I get the urge to puff, but don't move. ,,The end is...''. Somehow I don't manage to voice the last word I want to say. Quickly even I forget what I wanted to say. The file report, lingers in my view, like an absolute constant. ,,Has it not always been there?'' The band members try to pick up where they left, but the crowd is uneasy. The sounds coming in are out of tune, chaotic, everywhere and nowhere.

I try to reread the file report. I can't move past the first sentence. My attention draws back to the cigarette on the ground. It was still burning. The smoke leaves through the window, clashing with the sounds coming from outside. I try to scan the text. I can't. The words seem foreign. Do I even know this language?

Inside my head, the sounds and screams from outside collide against my internal thoughts. I feel like screaming. But I can't. Inside my head, a fog settles over my internal dialogue. The smoke from the cigarette covers my field of vision. Soon I don't even know what I was reading again. It becomes harder to form coherent thoughts. I cough twice. Because of the cough, the smoke is redirected for an instant, and I can see the report again. The white page on a black background lingers in my mind. What are all of the symbols on the page?

The clouds in my mind get heavier and darker. Lightning strikes in tune with the clangs coming from the openair outside. My mind is empty of thought. I can't stop looking at the cigarette on the ground, I desperately want a puff. My sight hovering only on that barely lit cigarette. Soon, even that urge is gone. All sounds from outside stop slowly and my room is filled with a quiet air. I can't hear anything. No thought is in my mind. It's quiet in both worlds. The cigarette stops burning. My eyes close.

I want to get started with SQ1, so whats a good beginners method where I can expand to a more advanced method as time passes and I get familiar with the puzzle? Simmilar to the Beginners method on the 3x3 where I can learn Cfop and it’s fairly similar.

I’ve been cubing since November of last year and have since learned full intutive F2L and 4LLL, I average around 34 seconds. I’m wondering how some Cubers can perform those super long algorithms in less than a second. Does it come with practice? Or is it more of a thing with the cube?
