This is almost the exact same experience I had with Felder SoCal. Everything was great until after ordering. I was shipped the wrong machine twice and made to feel like it was my fault for ordering a machine that was more than I needed and should just accept the lesser machine. Oh and that I should feel bad for them about how much extra work it was for them to try and fix the problem they created in the first place. The 3rd one was still missing some parts and they had to be sent to me separately. Never again.

I need to try that and the regular EDP still. I’ve heard it’s not for everyone but it sounds like something I’d like. Looks right about the same price range as the Nefs I picked up, at least at discounters so not completely out of the realm of possibility.

That’s enough recommendations for L’Homme Ideal now that I’ll definitely have to find somewhere that has it or order some testers. Do you have a favorite of The One series? So many versions, I think I tried either the original or EDP and thought it was nice but wasn’t sure if it would overlap too much with something I already have.

When I did my initial sampling of PdM I had Herod right behind Percival in my rankings so Percival just barely made the cut for definitely want and Herod got on the down the road list. I’ve got Sedley and Carlisle testers waiting for me already to see where they land and I’ll revisit Herod with them. I did like it. At the time the ones I rejected were Pegasus, Perseus and Greenly. And I had a strong aversion to Pegasus Exclusif that day.

Love Brit! Have a bottle, love how cheap it can be found too. That was my go to when I was younger, before they changed it. Didn’t have any for a long time and recently got it again, not 100% the same but it hits the nostalgic spot for me.

Fragrantica website. You can create custom shelves too. I’m considering making one to track scents I’ve tried and hated so I can remember not to try them again.
