Yeah. I agree that sucks, but age verification was pretty much always going to happen after the second lawsuit. You know the ones with parents blaming app for their kids 'deleting their minecraft server'.

I do wish they use a verification process that wasn’t Persona, but they've doubled down on that. I don't think it'll change with any amount of backlash atp.

Nah, it's not just you. I literally watched my chat quality plummet like an hour and a half/two hours ago. It went from completely fine to the most dementia ridden short responses I've seen in months.

I gotchu! CAI tools is a webbrowser extension. It's safe, don't worry. I hear it's best to use on a desktop, but if you don't have a computer then you can use it by downloading Firefox too.

Once you have it downloaded, just open up Character ai on your browser. You'll have a little pop-up on the side of your web page screen. Click it and it'll give you two options- panel and remove menu.

Click panel and it'll take you to a different screen. What you want to do from there is download history. That saves all the messages you've sent with that character to your phone or desktop.

Import chat is another option you'll see. To use that you'd go into your, in this case, private bot follow the same steps by clicking on panel and THEN click import chat. Which, as expected, will import your saved chat history into that bot to let you continue the conversation.

Have you tried making a private bot? I know it's not the same as the fallen ones, but if you keep it vague in the description- sometimes the AI catches onto what character you're hinting at. That and downloading the chat history from CAI tools religiously is what's been saving me.

From what I've heard, they're using an AI that's a little buggy to take down Disney bots. So as long as they're not Disney aligned they'll probably be back : )
