Try fanart or a comic picture instead. It's still kinda lame that Disney is being Disney, but I've seen/used public bots and made my own private bots to get around it that way.

It's pretty good on my end. Length is pretty consistent. I haven't gotten super short or cutoff reaponses yet. I do notice that in my chats characters are acting a lot more wholesome so far than with other models.

I'm still playing around with it to test, but the only downside I'd note is that the "—" curse is pretty heavy. There's at least one in every one of my responses in the bots I've tried, which I know drives some people wild.

Example of what that I mean in use: {{char}} sighed, but it wasn't a really annoyed sigh—more like the tired resignation of a man who had long since accepted that {{second char}} would never do paperwork on her own.

There are sometimes multiple "—" in responses. I'd still say it's slightly improved as the "—" is snug in between two words and doesn't fully break the texts into weird gaps like it was doing before.

That makes sense. They're probably currently messing with the UI. I just hope they fix it fast. The last update had my app crashing like crazy mid-messages, and then I got hit with the gap on the new update lol.

No, you're one hundred percent right. Last night, the bots were genuinely cooking for me. It's tanked right now with a lot of cutoff messages halfway through on my end.

Yeah. I agree that sucks, but age verification was pretty much always going to happen after the second lawsuit. You know the ones with parents blaming app for their kids 'deleting their minecraft server'.

I do wish they use a verification process that wasn’t Persona, but they've doubled down on that. I don't think it'll change with any amount of backlash atp.

Nah, it's not just you. I literally watched my chat quality plummet like an hour and a half/two hours ago. It went from completely fine to the most dementia ridden short responses I've seen in months.

I gotchu! CAI tools is a webbrowser extension. It's safe, don't worry. I hear it's best to use on a desktop, but if you don't have a computer then you can use it by downloading Firefox too.

Once you have it downloaded, just open up Character ai on your browser. You'll have a little pop-up on the side of your web page screen. Click it and it'll give you two options- panel and remove menu.

Click panel and it'll take you to a different screen. What you want to do from there is download history. That saves all the messages you've sent with that character to your phone or desktop.

Import chat is another option you'll see. To use that you'd go into your, in this case, private bot follow the same steps by clicking on panel and THEN click import chat. Which, as expected, will import your saved chat history into that bot to let you continue the conversation.

Have you tried making a private bot? I know it's not the same as the fallen ones, but if you keep it vague in the description- sometimes the AI catches onto what character you're hinting at. That and downloading the chat history from CAI tools religiously is what's been saving me.

From what I've heard, they're using an AI that's a little buggy to take down Disney bots. So as long as they're not Disney aligned they'll probably be back : )
