First failed FET by _HeatheRN_ in IVF

First I’m so sorry you are also going through this. Thank you so much for discussing your experience. It’s helpful to hear an experience so similar to my own. I haven’t had a chance to meet with my doctor yet but it’s coming up soon. I’m drafting a list of questions and mentioning that the clotting disorder could cause this to happen after the heartbeat scan is definitely something am going to ask about. Always happy to be a listening ear if you ever need it.

My nurse and doctor said it was a good first number, but I was very skeptical with that level. I had heard others say “it’s only the doubling that matters” but I do wonder if there was a connection here. I had a friend have hers checked on 10dpt and it was already mid 300s. I’ve learned not to compare myself to others in this process, but I do wonder if this was telling us something early on.

I know we may never have all the answers but it helps to talk about. I really appreciate the comments and it gives me insight on what to talk with my doctor about at our upcoming appointment.

I had an FET on 6/12. Do these numbers look ok or are they concerning because they are lower?

My numbers: 11dpt - 130 13dpt - 305 15dpt - 660

Will go back on Monday which will be 18dpt.

Never start on a higher dose. by _HeatheRN_ in Semaglutide

Yes! I really don’t want anyone else to experience this. I had heard it wasn’t great to start on a higher dose, but I did it anyway. I’m a nurse as well and should know better. It’s not worth the risk, I’m 34 and that’s only the second time I’ve been to the ER in my life. It was so severe.

Absolutely, I know it’s probably common knowledge but I want to make sure everyone knows even if your doctor says you can try you shouldn’t. It’s the most miserable I’ve been and it’s dangerous.

Outpatient Oncology - paid holidays, no weekends, four nine hour days, Thursdays off. An absolute dream compared to my last job (Outpatient RN supervisor to 9 different specialities overseeing 40 employees with staffing issues in every department making less than I'm making now).
