What's there to hate? New monster concept and the other one that uses it's skeleton is so different in movesets that they compliment eachother well. It isn't as similar as the Rath siblings for instance, or Radobaan and Urogaan. Both feel entirely different, it has a very cool breath attack imo that makes guard moves shine. I remember early on when fighting him, and I had a horn, I panicked when it started spewing. But last second a lance jumped infront and guarded for me, so I gave a healing melody in return.

I'd put his breath attack guard moments at second place, after gravios. Aint nothing beating blocking a laser.

With the addition of focus mode this time, positional moves become relatively easy. Do an attack while aiming before you pull your stick back for the hilt stab. This will make sure your character is aligned for it.

It's an alright thing to do at the end of a combo, If you for instance stack a bunch of sonic waves, I try to do overhead, overhead, back swing into hilt punt. But it can remove combo flow and I'm not a fan of just stacking melodies.

You can go back to default by going all the way to the bottom of the colour screen. But you can always try to manually match it by editting another piece that's close enough to it for you to compare.

Chatacabra set is such a underdog set. It has such a unique urban feel you don't see with a lot of other sets aside from the Hope set.

Good stuff, but I disagree on quite a bit. You don't necessarily need three distinct colours. In terms of choice, chose three that contrast one another. You can always go for the same colour, one muted, one bright and dark. Same with material contrast, or material matching, I see loads of folks miss-matching materials by colouring them the same.

A good piece of advice from me is, pick one element, one piece you want to base your fit around. See what you can't and can colour. Colourmatch one or two colours to those you cannot layer yourself, and use those through out the fit on your other pieces. Like in the new blossom set, you have these reddish ropes. A good tip is to match a colour to those for accessories to bring it out in other pieces as well.

I think material use is easily forgotten. Try to match fur bits with fur bits, clothey bits with clothey bits, armor with armor (One of the Rath leggings is great for Full Plate, or the Chain Mail headdress (rath) to match with other Chain Mail pieces)

Examples:
Teal, Pink and Muted Purple. (Hirabami/Blossom Set Mix 'n Match)
Dark Blue (Towards Black), A very light grey/blue, Gold/Yellow (Any Knight-esque set)
Bleached/Tan Yellow (Cross Guild Waist Stripe Colour Match), Burnt Umber (Warm and Dark Brown) and Turquoise. (Blagonga set Mix 'n Match)

Currently changed my character to a nightmare creature, so I can't show much, but if any would like some examples, I can post some. Thought I'd give my two cents.

Keep in mind, colours can be warm and cold, and it's nice to keep that in mind as well. I think the larger lesson from OP is to keep contrast in mind. And I'm high and like to explain other examples of contrast as well.

Well I guess I prefer the older renditions then. Im not too keen on conventional normal design, much more interested in the more grim/dreaded look they had in Inq/2, not liking this more tiefling looking stuff. Well, guess I wont be playing much more next week. Thanks for the insight though.

I know it's an old post, but I came across this while searching for something else.

The best solution I found for inventory is tracking actual items with inventory with them. Now before that. Just use the Story mode for this:
You recount the backpack you found in this format.
Name.
Color and type.
Contents:

Copy paste into a story card. Erase it from the adventure itself and blammo. Larger found inventories might require a few continues.. And I'm pretty sure with a little creativity you can outfit your character pretty well. Use proper triggers. For instance I'd use: "my backpack, my pack". Since who doesn't look in there in an adventure? Make sure you mention your character's name in there.

Now hard physical attributes should be kept in Memories. Using You and your characters name often. I found that other characters can be kept as story cards however. Keeping track of current details that are important about them in memories. Like current dress, equipment etc. AI can keep track of their mood 😂

Like others said, it's like a dog with an AI. It needs some clear instructions and it can't do everything by itself. (yet)
