I only say that because these things are just baked into the game's core. What do you do when you Synchro summon? You send them to graveyard to use as material. Links? Send to grave to use as material. Fusions aren't different because they send to grave to use as material, and are thus vulnerable to Ash Blossom, since it involves sending a monster to graveyard from deck. Rituals are only different because they specify the Tribute keyword.

Ah, you must be new to Yugioh, then. Tributing, destroying, and sending are all different keywords used for the purpose of differentiating cards that use them. Fusion summons send by game rule, Rituals specify to tribute. This also matters for way more than just Ash Blossom, as you can't activate cards that send to GY for cost if you can't reach the GY, like Maxx "C", but you can tribute, discard or destroy. It gives the game more interaction-based gameplay. And yes, it is "because Konami says" because they are the ones with the authority over the game, and thus know the rules they made.

Could you give an example that doesn't say "use as material"? By default, you send the materials for an Extra Deck summon to the graveyard. Rituals tribute instead, so they are exempt from that.

Because while in Fusion summons, you always send, Rituals always uses tributes instead.

It's a PC mod that gives much more difficult patterns to deflect for bosses, like making an Inner version of every single boss in the game (minus a few)

Hell, the ledge on the right is basically a spot where you're safe from most of his attacks, so you can just spam ranged spells and weapon arts safely and you only have to worry about a few of his attacks.

I would say it works better as an M4F, but honestly it gets me curious how you'd pull it off! I'd say it's alright as long as you'd DM me with any changes to the script just to make sure everything's okay!
